great driving dynamics, great bang for buck. would be better if there was more 3rd row space. comparable to hyundai santa fe, ford explorer and toyota highlander.

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-90 a good car?
Yes — the 2026 Mazda CX-90 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong appeal for shoppers who want a three-row SUV with a sporty character. Mazda positions it as a better fit if you value a premium interior, stylish design, and engaging driving feel more than maximum interior and cargo space. It also offers useful versatility, with seating for six, seven, or eight depending on configuration, plus towing capacity of up to 2,268 kilograms. With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop carefully.
Is the 2026 Mazda CX-90 reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
Mazda’s approach here is straightforward: the CX-90 is built to feel polished and distinctive, with standard all-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic, and a range of powertrain choices that include mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid setups. The trade-off is that it is not the roomiest option in its class, and the ride can feel stiff. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its premium ambitions may come with higher expectations for comfort and usability than some shoppers want.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Mazda CX-90?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and focus on the right trim and condition.
- Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 198 listings available.
Should I buy a 2026 Mazda CX-90 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2026 if:
- 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
Consider the 2025 if:
- It offers unusual powertrains and a stylish, premium feel.
The bottom line: The 2026 CX-90 is the better pick if you want the latest version of Mazda’s sporty three-row SUV formula and you value its premium character. If you are shopping mainly on price, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers much of the same distinctive appeal and may be the more budget-friendly path.
