Used 2026 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearKelowna, BC

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator earns a 7.67/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It’s a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that prioritises comfort, luxury, and a relaxed driving experience over sharp responses. The Aviator’s smooth ride and cossetting interior are its biggest strengths, and it keeps the Ford Explorer’s more potent optional engine, which helps preserve decent towing capability. The trade-offs are that it sacrifices sportiness, the handling can feel awkward, and the third row is a weak point. It’s also a pricey version of a Ford Explorer.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is built around a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 and a 10-speed automatic, and the powertrain is described as strong and smooth. It stays in the background most of the time, which suits the Aviator’s comfort-first character, and the transmission’s shifts are consistently smooth. Lincoln also backs the SUV with standard all-wheel drive in Canada, which adds year-round confidence.

The Aviator’s dependability story is more about calm, low-stress operation than mechanical excitement. Its ride tuning and standard equipment are aimed at making daily use easy, and the available Dynamic Handling package can add more control if you want it. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a complex, premium SUV with a lot of technology and comfort hardware to maintain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Aviator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premiere uses synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve upgrades to leather upholstery in black, grey, bronze, or chocolate brown. The Reserve also adds ambient lighting and a more premium audio setup, so it’s the better choice if you want the Aviator to feel fully luxurious.
• Powertrain: Every Aviator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 with 383 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and standard AWD. It’s smooth, strong, and tuned for relaxed progress rather than sporty responses.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen. Standard tech includes wireless charging, a head-up display, a 14-speaker audio system, eight USB ports, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, digital key functionality, and access to Google Assistant and the Google Play store.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates the Aviator at 13.8 L/100 km in the city, 9.5 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.9 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 2 trim levels: Premiere and Reserve.

Here’s the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Aviator’s core luxury feel, standard AWD, the twin-turbo V6, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model, but it’s the more basic choice.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim. It adds real leather upholstery, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, a head-up display, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, and larger 21-inch wheels. It’s also the trim to choose if you want the available Dynamic Handling package.

Lincoln’s safety package is standard across the lineup, so you don’t need to move up a trim for the core driver-assistance features.

Should I buy a 2026 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• Choose the 2026 if: 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Choose the 2026 if: It pairs a smooth ride with strong safety and a more luxurious cabin than the Explorer.
• Consider the 2025 if: It offers distinctive styling and advanced technology.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better pick if you want the Aviator’s comfort-first luxury, strong safety, and modern tech in a current used listing. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look for its distinctive design and advanced technology, especially if you find a cleaner or cheaper example.
