New & Used 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale near Westbridge, BC

Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

It is positioned as a luxury SUV that leans hard into prestige, performance, and exclusivity, and the tested SV Carbon is described as the fastest and most extreme vehicle Land Rover has ever made. That makes it especially compelling if you want a two-row luxury SUV with serious capability and a strong sense of occasion. The trade-offs are clear, though: you give up some practicality in the cabin, and the vehicle’s price places it in rarefied company.

Buy now if: you want a high-end SUV that prioritises style, performance, and customisation over mainstream value. The market signal is still reasonably active, with 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is described as having poor reliability, and that concern is part of the model’s overall appeal trade-off. The expert data also points to a vehicle that is mechanically ambitious, with a mild-hybrid setup, standard 4WD, locking centre and rear differentials, and adaptive dampers and air springs across the range.

The performance hardware is substantial, but the ownership picture is less reassuring for used buyers because the model is explicitly called out for poor reliability. If you plan to keep one long term, you should expect a higher-risk ownership experience than you would with a more conventional luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin design is elegant, but the base setup lacks the more luxurious woods and metals found in some rivals, and the minimalist layout removes many physical controls. Higher trims add more distinctive materials and features, while the SV Carbon brings carbon-fibre exterior details, 23-inch carbon wheels, and carbon ceramic brakes.
• Powertrain: The range includes multiple powertrains, all gas-only trims using a mild-hybrid system. The S uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six with 355 hp and 369 lb-ft, while higher trims add more output, including a plug-in hybrid with up to 85 kilometres of gas-free driving and a V8 option with 523 hp.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a surround view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. There are no safety option packages on higher trims, and there is no hands-free driving system.
• Infotainment: The main display is 13.1 inches. Apple CarPlay works in full screen, the factory navigation and audio interface are strong, and the instrument panel is configurable without feeling cluttered.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada fuel consumption figures were incomplete at the time of writing. The P530 V8 is rated at 14.5 L/100 km city, 10.2 highway, and 12.6 combined, while the SV’s engine is rated at 15.0 L/100 km city, 10.8 highway, and 13.1 combined.

Which 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 7 trim levels: S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic SE plug-in hybrid, Battersea Edition, Twenty Edition, Autobiography, and SV.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Range Rover Sport experience with the standard 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six, full-time 4WD, and the model’s standard luxury and capability hardware. It makes sense if you want the nameplate without chasing the highest prices.
• Dynamic SE: This trim adds more output from the inline-six and is the better choice if you want a stronger all-rounder without jumping to the most expensive versions. It is the most balanced step-up in the range.
• Dynamic SE plug-in hybrid: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain and the ability to drive up to 85 kilometres on electricity alone. It is the efficiency-focused option in the lineup.
• Battersea Edition: This trim makes the plug-in hybrid powertrain standard, so it suits you if you want that electrified setup without having to add it separately.
• Twenty Edition: This version celebrates 20 years of Range Rover Sport production and pairs that special-edition positioning with the available V8. It is for buyers who want something more distinctive.
• Autobiography: This is the luxury-leaning V8 choice, and it suits you if you want the stronger engine with a more upscale trim position.
• SV: This is the performance-focused trim, with the 626 hp V8 and the most extreme hardware in the range. It is the one to buy if outright performance is your priority.

There are no safety option packages on higher trims, and there is no hands-free driving system.

Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport safe?

The Range Rover Sport does not come with front knee airbags, a front central airbag that acts as the front passenger's left side airbag, or rear side airbags.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a surround view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. There are no safety option packages on higher trims and there is no hands-free driving system. The main caveat is the missing airbags noted above.

Should I buy a 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?
