New & Used 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport for Sale near Cecil Lake, BC

Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport a good car?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport earns a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

It is positioned firmly at the premium end of the market, and the tested SV Carbon version is described as the fastest and most extreme vehicle the brand has ever made. That makes it especially compelling if you want a luxury SUV with serious capability, distinctive style, and a high level of customisation.

The trade-offs are real: the lack of physical controls for critical functions is a notable drawback, and the interior materials are described as cheaper than the last generation. It also asks for a very large budget, even before you consider the top-trim pricing.

With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport reliable?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is presented as a highly capable luxury SUV, but the expert material also flags poor reliability as a concern. Its performance hardware is described in confident terms, with strong powertrains, standard 4WD, locking differentials, and adaptive dampers and air springs that support both on-road composure and off-road ability.

For ownership, the key dependability takeaway is that you should expect a sophisticated vehicle with complex systems, so long-term used-buyer risk is higher than you would want in a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S has the core Range Rover Sport look and feel, but it also reflects the model’s minimalist cabin approach and the absence of some of the richer materials found higher up. Upper trims add more distinctive equipment and, in the SV Carbon’s case, carbon-fibre exterior elements and carbon wheels.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six in the S, a more powerful version with an electric supercharger in the Dynamic SE, a plug-in hybrid with up to 85 kilometres of gas-free driving, a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 in select trims, and a 626 hp SV tune at the top.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a surround view camera system, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a driver attention monitor. There are no safety option packages on higher trims.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 13.1-inch display, Apple CarPlay works in full screen, and the factory navigation and audio interface are strong. The instrument panel is configurable, and the surround-view cameras are very clear.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid can travel up to 85 kilometres on electric power alone. The base 4.4-litre V8 is rated at 14.5 L/100 km in the city, 10.2 on the highway, and 12.6 combined. The SV engine is rated at 15.0 L/100 km city, 10.8 highway, and 13.1 combined.

Which 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is offered in 7 trim levels: S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic SE plug-in hybrid, Battersea Edition, Twenty Edition, Autobiography, and SV.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Range Rover Sport experience with the standard 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six, full-time 4WD, locking differentials, adaptive dampers, air springs, and the full standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the nameplate and core capability without chasing the pricier powertrains.
• Dynamic SE: This is the best-value choice if you want a stronger all-rounder. It adds the more powerful mild-hybrid six-cylinder with an electric supercharger, and it can also be paired with the V8 or plug-in hybrid powertrains.
• Dynamic SE plug-in hybrid: Choose this if you want the longest electric-only driving range in the lineup, with up to 85 kilometres of gas-free driving and strong combined output.
• Battersea Edition: This is the plug-in hybrid trim if you want that powertrain in a more distinctive special-edition package.
• Twenty Edition: This trim is for buyers who want the V8 and a commemorative special edition tied to 20 years of Range Rover Sport production.
• Autobiography: This is the more luxurious V8 choice if you want the stronger engine without jumping all the way to the SV family.
• SV: This is the performance flagship, with 626 hp and the most extreme hardware in the lineup.

There are no safety option packages on higher trims.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Should I buy a 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• Choose the 2026 if: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals. The tested SV Carbon is the fastest and most extreme Land Rover ever made.
• Consider the 2025 if: It offers the same core formula with minimal changes.
• The bottom line: Buy the 2026 if you want the most dramatic version of the Range Rover Sport and can live with its compromises. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is the easier value play because it keeps the same basic character with minimal change.
