New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearRouyn-Noranda, QC

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from users and 8.83/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is a redesigned three-row SUV aimed at families who want more style than a minivan and nearly as much utility. It comes across as a comfortable, spacious choice with broad appeal, and Hyundai’s goal was clearly to make this version the best yet.

Multiple powertrain options and great ride quality are the big strengths here, and the Palisade’s refined cabin and thoughtful packaging support its family-first mission. The main trade-offs are that fuel economy lags behind top rivals and the XRT trim loses luxury features.

For shoppers who want a roomy, upscale-feeling three-row SUV, the Palisade fits the brief well. 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Hyundai positions the 2026 Palisade as a thoroughly improved redesign, and the expert assessment backs up that sense of progress with a strong overall score and a polished, well-rounded package. The standard powertrain is described as quiet and refined, and the ride quality is comfortable without feeling floaty.

The ownership picture is helped by Hyundai’s five years or 100,000 kilometres new-car warranty, which is a useful buffer for used buyers. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a more complex, feature-rich SUV can mean more to inspect carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred Trend trim gives you the core Palisade experience, while the XRT Pro adds off-road-oriented hardware but loses some luxury feel. Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy bring more premium equipment, and the top trim adds the most upscale touches.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD in Canada. A hybrid is also available with a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, two electric motors, and a total output of 329 hp and 339 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. XRT Pro adds side parking sensors and reverse automatic braking, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: Every Canadian Palisade gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with onboard navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only models are rated at 12.2 L/100 km city, 9.7 highway, and 11.1 combined. The XRT Pro rises to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined, while the hybrid is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred Trend, XRT Pro, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred Trend: This is the entry point and the best place to start if you want the core Palisade formula without paying for extras you may not need.
• XRT Pro: This is the one to choose if you want the most dirt-friendly version, with all-terrain tyres, extra ground clearance, recovery hooks, and off-road-focused hardware. It’s also the trim where you should expect some luxury-feature trade-offs.
• Luxury: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it adds the hybrid powertrain and more premium equipment while staying below the top model.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the pick if you want the most upscale Palisade, with the most advanced tech and the richest feature set.

The safety package is broad across the range, but the top trim gets the upgraded Highway Driving Assist II system, while lower trims use Highway Driving Assist I.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings before you move quickly.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 278 listings available.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade hadn’t received safety ratings from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety at the time of writing.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The Palisade’s standard safety suite includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. XRT Pro adds side parking sensors and reverse automatic braking, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.

Hyundai’s Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but the top Ultimate Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance. One caveat is that the system’s cyclist detection was not perfect in testing, so you still need to stay engaged behind the wheel.

Should I buy a 2026 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Hyundai redesigned it for 2026, adding more space, more tech, and a more upscale feel.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It remains a roomy, well-rounded three-row SUV with strong family appeal.

The bottom line: The 2026 Palisade is the better choice if you want the newest design, the strongest feature set, and the most polished overall package. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, the 2025 can still make sense when you find a compelling deal, especially if you value the Palisade’s roomy, family-friendly layout over having the latest redesign.
