New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearPrince George, BC

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It comes across as a redesigned three-row SUV that leans into family practicality without giving up style. The overview points to a spacious, comfortable cabin with room for the whole family, while the expert verdict says it is a top choice if you want a comfortable three-row SUV with strong space and utility. Multiple powertrain options and a great ride quality broaden its appeal for everyday use.

The main trade-offs are that the XRT trim gives up some luxury features, and fuel economy trails top rivals. Even so, 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Palisade is presented as a thoroughly updated model, and the expert assessment describes it as an improvement over the vehicle it replaces in every meaningful way. The overview also frames it as a well-rounded family SUV with broad appeal, which supports the idea that it is built to handle daily use with confidence.

The performance notes describe the standard V6 as quiet and refined, with an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly in normal driving. The cost-effectiveness notes also point to Hyundai’s five-year/100,000-kilometre new-car warranty, which is a useful ownership benefit for used buyers.

For used shoppers, the main long-term risk is that a more complex, feature-rich SUV can mean more systems to inspect carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred Trend trim is the least expensive, while the XRT Pro adds off-road-oriented hardware but loses some luxury feel. Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy bring more premium equipment, and the top trim adds the most upscale touches.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.5-litre V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD in Canada. A hybrid is also available with a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, two electric motors, and a six-speed automatic.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. XRT Pro adds side parking sensors and reverse automatic braking, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: Every model gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with onboard navigation. Ultimate Calligraphy also adds a 12-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only models are rated at 12.2 L/100 km city, 9.7 highway, and 11.1 combined. The XRT Pro rises to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined. The hybrid is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred Trend, XRT Pro, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred Trend: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the Palisade’s core space, comfort, and standard tech without paying for extras. It gives you the full-size family-SUV experience at the lowest price.
• XRT Pro: This is the one to choose if you want the more rugged version. It adds all-terrain tyres, more ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, recovery hooks, and extra parking and braking aids, but it loses some luxury features.
• Luxury: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it adds the hybrid powertrain as standard and includes the tow hitch for the 2,268-kilogram towing capacity.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most premium choice, with the most upscale equipment, the upgraded Highway Driving Assist II system, evasive steering assist, integrated dashcams, and the available hybrid powertrain.

The safety package is broad across the range, but the top trim gets the most advanced driver-assistance setup.
