What is the 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $36,967 CAD sits slightly below last year's $38,288 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. Even so, a model with broad appeal and strong efficiency can still hold buyer interest well when it is equipped and priced competitively. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 28.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $32,569 CAD, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $36,967 CAD average.
• It adds a new hybrid model with more power and significantly improved fuel economy.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the latest pricing context and are comfortable shopping the current market. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2025 is the better value path, especially if you want a lower entry price and can live with the older model year.
