What is the 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $37,008 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,613 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale may depend on how well the market absorbs hybrid compact cars over time. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value better than a similar car bought at a peak. Strong equipment and efficient operation should help keep it appealing to used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $32,586 CAD, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $37,008 CAD average.
• It adds a new hybrid option with improved fuel economy.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the stronger current-market mix of pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2025 is the better value path, especially if you find one in good condition and the lower price matters more than the latest-year market position.
