Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volkswagen Taos?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 903 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.16% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Volkswagen Taos's resale value?

The current average of $30,409 CAD sits slightly below last year's $38,088 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale expectations more conservative if you buy at today's average. If you pay close to the current market level, your room for strong short-term appreciation is limited, but a lower entry price can help protect your position later. A well-priced purchase today gives you a better chance of staying competitive when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen Taos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing and available inventory, the 2025 is the primary year to focus on. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to move quickly when you find one that is well priced.
