Used 2025 Toyota Tundra for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2025 Toyota Tundra cost?

Prices have softened 15.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 335 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Toyota Tundra earns 4/5 from owners and 6.7/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The Tundra’s appeal is its tech-forward interior, available hybrid powertrain, and broad mix of capability and everyday practicality. It also offers plenty of space to store stuff and a spacious back seat, which makes it useful for work duties and daily driving alike.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, the seats are uncomfortable, and it lacks front recovery hooks. If you want a modern, feature-rich full-size pickup and can live with those compromises, it fits that brief well.

The market shows 31.6% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Toyota says it has fixed the engine issue that affected earlier third-generation models, and the expert verdict points to an upward trend in predictive reliability for the truck and its powertrain. The twin-turbo V6 is described as having the right amount of get-up-and-go for highway merging and passing, while the overall package is framed as a modern, useful pickup with strong everyday usability.

The maintenance and ownership picture is helped by the included trial coverage for some connected services, but several features still depend on subscriptions. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure you’re buying a truck that has been properly maintained and is free of unresolved recall-related concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TRD Rally Package adds rally-inspired styling, 18-inch TRD off-road wheels, all-terrain tyres, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and extra interior touches, while the base SR trim uses more durable-looking plastic in places and is lighter on luxury features.
• Powertrain: You get a twin-turbo 3.4-litre V6 with rear-wheel drive standard and four-wheel drive available, plus a 10-speed automatic; the available hybrid adds more output, but the standard engine is still described as strong for merging and passing.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard and includes pre-collision with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams; blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available on higher trims or with packages.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the TRD Rally Package brings a 14-inch screen; the system can be glitchy at times when reconnecting a phone.
• Fuel efficiency: The best fuel economy cited is 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving, and the truck is noted as falling short of more efficient rivals.

Which 2025 Toyota Tundra trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is offered in 2 trim levels: SR and CrewMax SR.

Here's the short version:

• SR: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Tundra’s core strengths without paying for the upper-trim tech and comfort extras. It still gives you the standard safety suite and wireless smartphone integration, but it keeps the truck simpler and more work-oriented.
• CrewMax SR: This is the better pick if you want the more popular configuration with standard four-wheel drive in Canada and a stronger all-round mix of utility and everyday usability. It’s the best-value trim for most shoppers who want the Tundra’s broad capability without chasing luxury add-ons.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard across all trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Tundra?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 335 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,841 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Tundra's resale value?

The current average of $59,841 CAD sits slightly below last year's $70,897 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. If prices remain below prior-year levels, resale values may stay under pressure in the near term.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Tundra safe?

The 2025 Toyota Tundra crew cab is the only full-size truck to win a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), and it earns a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), with additional five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all trim levels and includes pre-collision with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, automated lane centring, and automatic high beams. Eight airbags, LATCH on outboard second-row seats, child-protector rear door locks, tyre pressure monitoring, and front active headrests are also standard.

Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available with packages and on higher trims. The main caveat is that some of the more useful driver-assistance features are not standard across the whole range.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Tundra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Expert or safety highlight specific to this year from the 2025 model: it adds a retro TRD Rally Package and available massaging seat in upper trims.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,818 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $59,841 CAD average.
• It leans on Toyota dependability and a powerful i-Force Max drivetrain.

The bottom line: Buy the 2025 if you want the newer tech, stronger safety story, and updated feature set. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the better value-oriented path.
