How much does the 2025 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 6.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 368 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated minivan with an expert rating of 6.3/10. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is aimed at you if you want a family minivan that makes daily life easier, saves fuel, and offers available all-wheel drive for extra confidence in poor conditions. It also stands out for practical packaging, since you never need to remove the second-row seats to use the cargo area.

The trade-offs are clear: the transmission can be irritating, and the Sienna’s maximum cargo capacity trails rivals. Even so, the combination of easy-to-use technology, a quiet cabin, and a smooth ride makes it a strong fit if comfort and convenience matter more than driving excitement.

33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is built around a hybrid powertrain, and Toyota positions it as a fuel-saving family hauler with available all-wheel drive. In expert testing, it was described as quiet on the highway and smooth over rough pavement, which supports the impression of a well-sorted everyday vehicle.

Its hybrid setup is also meant to maximise efficiency, and the available AWD system adds flexibility for Canadian winters. Toyota’s newer rear-seat reminder technology is a thoughtful family-focused addition, too.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Sienna’s real-world fuel economy may not match expectations, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited, with the Limited and Platinum package adding more upscale equipment. Base models have smaller displays, and the LE also has three-zone climate control instead of the four-zone setup found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid with a CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available and adds a rear-mounted electric motor when needed.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard, with forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also included on all Siennas.
• Infotainment: Higher-spec models get a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and connected services can add voice-assistant and navigation features.
• Fuel efficiency: The official rating for the FWD test model is 6.6 L/100 km combined, while the evaluation loop returned 8.9 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Sienna. It gives you the core hybrid minivan formula, but it also has the most obvious equipment gaps, including smaller displays and three-zone climate control instead of the richer setup found higher up.
• XLE: This is the trim that should make the most sense for many shoppers because it adds a more complete everyday experience without jumping all the way to the top of the range. If you want the best balance of value and equipment, this is the one to focus on.
• XSE: Choose this if you want a racier look and a sport-tuned suspension. It is the trim for you if style and a slightly more engaging feel matter more than maximum comfort.
• Limited: This is the most upscale choice, with the richest tech and convenience content, including the larger displays and premium audio setup. It suits you if you want the most feature-rich Sienna and are willing to pay for it.

Safety tech is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 368 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $58,043 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $58,213 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,384 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can work in your favour if you’re buying now but may soften what you can ask later as a seller. The current range also shows that values have settled into a narrower band, so condition, mileage, and trim will matter more when it comes time to resell. If you keep the vehicle well maintained, the Sienna’s family-friendly reputation and strong demand for efficient minivans should help support future value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2025 Toyota Sienna earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, but it also scores four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star protection for the driver in a frontal impact.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is standard, and it includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard across the lineup.

The main caveat is that the Sienna does not use Toyota’s newer Safety Sense 3.0 system, and expert testing noted that adaptive cruise control required human intervention in sudden braking situations. That means you should stay attentive, especially in urban traffic.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds rear-seat reminder technology and keeps the useful hybrid-and-AWD formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,390 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $58,213 CAD average.
• It offers strong fuel efficiency and plenty of standard safety equipment.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the hybrid powertrain and adds best-in-class fuel economy for a minivan.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the strongest market context and the same core strengths, the 2025 is the primary pick. If price matters most, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 is worth a look if you want to compare the next model year’s efficiency-focused updates.
