It offers all-wheel drive, standard in Canada throughout this generation, and its hybrid system helps deliver an estimated combined fuel consumption of 6.7 litres per 100 kilometres. Inside, you get three rows of seating, flexible passenger configurations, Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility, and available technology that reaches a 12.3-inch touchscreen on the Platinum trim.

For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a dependable hybrid SUV with standard all-wheel drive, a flexible cabin, and a family-friendly feature set. 21.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid reliable?

The 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid stands out as a practical three-row family SUV with a strong reputation for reliability and efficiency. Its standard all-wheel drive, hybrid setup, and broad safety equipment help reinforce that dependable image, especially if you want a vehicle built around everyday usability rather than flash.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about living with the Highlander Hybrid’s compromises over time, especially if you need more third-row space or stronger towing ability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you know what a fair listing looks like.

• Deal availability: 21.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 62 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $59,259 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $60,601 CAD sits slightly below last year's $65,584 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean a future seller has less pricing power than before. If you buy at the right number now and keep the vehicle in strong condition, the Highlander Hybrid’s reputation for reliability should still support resale appeal later. The key is to avoid overpaying, because the current trend leaves less cushion for a quick profit on resale.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 21.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.60% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better choice if you want the current model year’s pricing context and a solid pool of listings to compare. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 remains the cleaner pick when you want a practical, efficient, and well-equipped hybrid SUV with a moderate market position.
