Is the 2025 Subaru Impreza a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Impreza is a value-oriented compact car that keeps Subaru’s core formula intact while moving it further into the mainstream. It stands out for its standard all-wheel drive, comfortable ride, and useful mix of safety and technology features, which make it a practical choice if you want extra traction and everyday usability.

It is available only as a five-door hatchback, and the standard equipment list is strong for the class. The Touring trim adds more convenience and driver-assist technology, while the RS brings a more powerful engine and additional premium touches.

With 30.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market offers a decent amount of opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Subaru Impreza reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Impreza has a reputation for strong owner satisfaction and solid resale value, which supports its appeal as a used buy. Its standard all-wheel drive and practical design also reinforce its everyday usefulness.

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.72% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $30,167 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,691 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Impreza has softened enough to create better buying conditions today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may remain supported, but you should not expect a strong appreciation story from this model year.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.72% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,335 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $30,167 CAD average.
• It offers affordable all-wheel-drive practicality.

The 2025 is the better pick if you want the newer model year and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2024 is the smarter path because it delivers the core Impreza formula for less.
