Used 2025 Subaru Ascent for Sale nearKitchener, ON

Is the 2025 Subaru Ascent a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Ascent is a three-row SUV built around standard Symmetrical all-wheel drive, a 260-horsepower 2.4-litre Boxer turbocharged engine, and a towing capacity of up to 2,268 kilograms. It also gives you seven- or eight-passenger seating, a family-friendly cabin, and practical touches like rear doors that open to 75 degrees, 19 cup holders, three-zone automatic climate control, and available USB charging ports in the third row.

For family buyers, the appeal is straightforward: you get strong standard equipment, useful cargo flexibility, and a broad feature set aimed at everyday usability. The trade-offs are also clear, including unimpressive fuel economy, an outdated interior design, and a cramped third row. 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Subaru Ascent reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Ascent leans on Subaru’s standard safety and capability formula, with EyeSight advanced driver assist and safety system equipment built in. It also has a strong safety track record, having been an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ every year it has been in production.

For used buyers, that points to a vehicle that should be approached as a practical family hauler with a safety-first reputation, but you should still plan for long-term ownership costs tied to a three-row SUV with a turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Ascent?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and focus on the right example rather than rushing.

• Deal availability: 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 78 listings available.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Ascent or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It offers standard all-wheel drive, strong safety, and a distinctive three-row Subaru formula.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year version of the Ascent’s family-focused package, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value path because it delivers much of the same core appeal with a lower asking price profile.
