Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale nearVictoria, BC

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 9.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,213 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — you’re looking at a 4/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall showing. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the sharp looks, smooth ride, powerful engine options, and quality finish, and they describe it as a standout choice. The truck also comes across as a more upscale full-size pickup, with premium interior materials and a spacious cabin helping it feel more polished than basic.

The main trade-offs are that the price can feel steep and advanced safety features are not standard. For you, that means the 2025 RAM 1500 makes the most sense if you want a refined, well-equipped truck rather than the cheapest path into the segment.

With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market activity to keep shopping options interesting.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its quality, finish, and smooth ride reinforcing the sense that it’s built to be lived with. The expert drive notes also support that impression, highlighting smooth shifts from the eight-speed automatic and a steering feel that suits a full-size truck.

Ram’s updated powertrain and technology package should help the truck feel current for longer, and the available hands-free driving system adds another layer of modern usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher trim content and advanced features can mean more complexity to inspect carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from the work-focused Tradesman to the new Tungsten, with clear differences in appearance and cabin materials. Base trims miss some of the more premium touches and high-tech equipment, so you should compare feature content carefully if you want the upscale feel this truck is known for.
• Powertrain: The base 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 carries over, while the optional upgrade is the new 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in standard-output and high-output forms. The new engine architecture is described as more efficient, and the standard-output version is the one tied to maximum towing capacity.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is Ram’s Level 2+ semi-autonomous setup, and it can manage speed, following distance, lane centring, and lane changes on approved roads. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: An 8.4-inch flush screen is standard even on the base Tradesman, a 12-inch screen is available, and the new 14.5-inch touchscreen runs a faster version of Uconnect 5. The 10.25-inch passenger screen becomes available starting with Laramie, and wireless charging, a digital rearview mirror, and a head-up display are available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: Ram says the new engine architecture should improve fuel efficiency, including while towing, but no fuel-consumption figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 8 trim levels: Tradesman, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited, Tungsten, and the two trims explicitly highlighted as the new top-end and next-highest models in the review coverage.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point, and it gives you the basics with the standard 8.4-inch screen. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup, but you’ll miss out on much of the luxury and tech that define the newer Ram 1500 experience.
• Rebel: This is the one to choose if you want the truck’s off-road character. The review highlights its 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler tyres, Bilstein shocks, and factory lift, making it the best fit for buyers who want capability and a more rugged personality.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen and starts moving the truck into a more premium, tech-rich space. If you want a strong balance of comfort and equipment, this is the trim to focus on.
• Longhorn: This trim adds more luxury flavour and also brings standard air suspension starting here. It suits you if you want a more upscale truck with extra ride comfort and a richer cabin presentation.
• Limited: This trim pushes further into premium territory with new interior treatment and access to more high-end tech. It’s a good fit if you want a near-luxury pickup without going all the way to the top.
• Tungsten: This is the new flagship and the most luxurious choice, with exclusive interior materials, the 14.5-inch touchscreen, and the most upscale cabin presentation in the lineup. Choose it if you want the most feature-rich Ram 1500 and price is less of a concern.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify exactly which driver-assistance equipment is included on the trim you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,213 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $63,173 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $63,173 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,813 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if the market stays well supplied. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to recover value later. The model’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ram’s available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is the headline safety and driver-assistance feature, and it can handle speed control, lane centring, following distance, and lane changes on approved roads. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, and the truck can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, and blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are also not standard. That means you should pay close attention to trim and option content if safety tech is a priority for you.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new super-luxe trim, more technology, and a hands-free driver-assistance system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The Hemi V8 returns as an option with a “Symbol of Protest” badge.

The bottom line: If you want the newer tech and softer pricing, the 2025 is the stronger buy right now. If the return of the Hemi matters more to you than the latest update, the 2026 is worth a look, especially if you’re willing to pay for that specific engine character.
