Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale near Oxford, NS

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 9.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,186 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — with a 4/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating, the 2025 RAM 1500 lands as a strong choice for shoppers who want a more upscale full-size truck. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners repeatedly praise the sharp looks, smooth ride, powerful engine options, and the quality and finish of the truck. The overview also points to premium interior materials and a spacious cabin, which fits the truck’s more upscale, all-rounder appeal.

The main trade-offs are that advanced safety features are not standard, and some owners feel the price is steep. The overview also notes that the truck’s appeal is strongest for buyers who want a full-size truck that feels more premium than basic.

With 33.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its quality and finish, smooth ride, and powerful engine options. That kind of feedback usually matters most when you want a truck you can count on over the long term.

The expert notes also support that impression by describing smooth, appropriately timed shifts from the eight-speed automatic and a comfortable ride on road. Ram also says the new engine architecture is more efficient, including during trailer towing.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a higher-priced, highly optioned truck can be expensive to keep if you want the newest technology and safety equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from work-focused to luxury-oriented, and the base trim is much more basic than the upper trims. LED headlights are standard, but not every trim gets the high-tech versions, and the premium interior treatments and walk-up animation are reserved for higher-end models.
• Powertrain: The base engine is the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6, while the upgrade is the 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in standard-output or high-output form. The standard-output version is the one tied to maximum towing capacity, and Ram says the new engine architecture brings better fuel efficiency.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is Ram’s Level 2+ semi-autonomous setup, and it can change speeds, maintain distance, and keep the truck centred in lane on approved roadways. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, but blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: An 8.4-inch screen is standard even on the base Tradesman, a 12-inch screen is available, and the 14.5-inch touchscreen runs Uconnect 5. The 10.25-inch passenger screen becomes available starting with Laramie, and wireless charging, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch driver display are available on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: Ram says the new engine architecture translates to better fuel efficiency, even during trailer towing.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 6 trim levels: Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Longhorn, Limited, Tungsten.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the lowest starting price and a straightforward work truck. It gets the standard 8.4-inch screen, but it misses much of the premium feel and advanced equipment that define the higher trims.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen and starts moving the truck into a more upscale, tech-rich space without jumping all the way to luxury pricing.
• Rebel: Choose this if you want the most off-road-focused character in the lineup. The expert drive notes highlight its 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler tires, Bilstein shocks, and factory lift, along with strong performance on rough terrain.
• Longhorn: This trim leans into comfort and style, and it also brings the air suspension into the mix. It suits you if you want a more premium truck with added ride sophistication.
• Limited: This is the high-end choice for buyers who want luxury features and a more polished cabin. It adds more premium interior treatment and sits near the top of the range without going all the way to Tungsten pricing.
• Tungsten: This is the flagship trim and the one to buy if you want the most luxurious RAM 1500 experience. It brings the richest materials, the most distinctive interior treatment, and the most fully loaded presentation.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that advanced driver-assistance features are not standard across the lineup, so you should verify equipment carefully on any used example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,186 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $63,275 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $63,392 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,997 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the truck is currently more accessible to used buyers than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may face more competition if the market stays soft, especially if your truck is not well equipped or is priced above the current average.

At the same time, the RAM 1500’s strong owner satisfaction and premium reputation can help support demand when your truck is clean, well maintained, and properly optioned. Higher-trim trucks with desirable technology and comfort features should be easier to position than bare-bones examples.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ram’s available Hands-Free Driving Assist system is the headline safety and driver-assistance feature here. It works on approved roadways, can manage speed, maintain distance, and keep the truck centred in its lane, and it can even handle lane changes when you activate the turn signal. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, and the truck’s cameras can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot.

The key caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, and blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround view camera are not standard either. That means you should check the equipment list carefully on any used truck, especially if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Ram added a new super-luxe trim, more technology, and new powertrain options for this year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The Hemi V8 returns as an option with a distinctive new badge.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2025 is the stronger buy because it combines softer pricing, solid owner satisfaction, and a meaningful update to the truck’s tech and powertrain lineup. If the Hemi V8 matters most to you, the 2026 is the year to target, but price-sensitive buyers should still focus on the 2025 and shop carefully for the right trim and equipment.
