Used 2025 RAM 1500 for Sale near Campbellford, ON

How much does the 2025 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 9.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,216 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 a good car?

Generally — with a 4/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating, the 2025 RAM 1500 looks like a strong pick if you want a full-size truck that feels upscale and thoroughly updated. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its sharp looks, smooth ride, powerful engine options, and quality finish. The truck’s premium feel and spacious cabin also come through clearly, while the new technology and refreshed powertrain lineup make it feel more modern and competitive.

The main trade-offs are that the price can feel steep and the touchscreen features may not impress everyone. In practical terms, this truck suits you best if you want a refined, well-equipped pickup rather than a bare-bones workhorse.

With 32.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable, with praise for its smooth ride, strong powertrain choices, and quality construction. That kind of repeat satisfaction usually matters most when you plan to keep a vehicle for the long term.

The expert review also supports that impression by noting smooth-shifting transmission behaviour and a well-suited steering feel for a full-size truck. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is paying for higher trims or features you may not need, so it pays to focus on the configuration that best matches your use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 RAM 1500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from work-focused versions to the new top-end Tungsten, and the feature spread is wide. Base trims get an 8.4-inch screen, while higher trims add more premium materials, larger displays, and features like the walk-up animation.
• Powertrain: The 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 carries over, while the HEMI V8 is gone and replaced by a 3.0-litre Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six in standard-output and high-output forms. Ram says the new engine architecture brings better fuel efficiency, even when towing.
• Safety package: The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system can change speed, maintain distance, and keep the truck centred in its lane on approved roadways. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, but blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are not standard.
• Infotainment: A 10.25-inch passenger screen becomes available starting with Laramie, and the truck can be equipped with an 8.4-inch standard display, a 12-inch screen, or a 14.5-inch touchscreen. The system runs Uconnect 5, and wireless charging, a digital rearview mirror, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch digital driver display are available.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel-economy numbers are not yet available.

Which 2025 RAM 1500 trim should I buy?

The 2025 RAM 1500 is offered in 5 trim levels: Tradesman, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Tungsten.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the richer cabin materials and higher-end tech found farther up the range.
• Laramie: This is the best-value trim if you want a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the luxury end. It also unlocks the 10.25-inch passenger screen, which is one of the model’s standout new features.
• Rebel: Choose this if you want the truck’s more rugged character and the strongest off-road flavour in the lineup.
• Limited: This trim is the sweet spot if you want a premium cabin and a strong mix of comfort and technology without paying Tungsten money.
• Tungsten: This is the luxury play, with the most premium materials, exclusive interior treatment, and the most fully loaded presentation.

Advanced safety features are not standard, so check equipment carefully on any trim you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,216 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.54% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $62,769 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $62,782 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,403 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside risk later than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 RAM 1500 safe?

The 2025 RAM 1500 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Hands-Free Driving Assist system can handle lane centring, speed changes, and following distance on approved roadways, and it can initiate lane changes only when you activate the turn signal. Newly enhanced automatic emergency braking now includes evasive steering assist, and the truck’s cameras can detect a cyclist or motorcycle in the blind spot.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you need to check trim and option content carefully. Blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, and the surround-view camera are all listed as not standard.

Should I buy a 2025 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• Expert or safety highlight specific to this year: it adds a new super-luxe trim and hands-free driver-assistance tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $74,760 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $62,782 CAD average.
• The Hemi V8 returns as a familiar character option.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2025 is the smarter buy because it brings the refreshed tech and pricing that is already easing. If you specifically want the returning V8 character and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the one to watch.
