How much does the 2025 Nissan Sentra cost?

Prices have softened 14.82% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Nissan Sentra a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Nissan Sentra, and that lines up with its focus on value, comfort, and straightforward everyday usability. It is best suited to you if you want a sensible compact sedan for commuting or running around town rather than something flashy. The 2025 model also benefits from a fresh exterior design, a new engine, and a solid package of driver safety aids, while its practical strengths are balanced by trade-offs like pedestrian performance and outdated technology on all but the latest Sentra. 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Sentra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Sentra is described as much more reliable than the previous seventh-generation versions, and used examples from 2020 through 2025 are presented as a good deal for buyers who want a dependable car for commuting or running around town. Its appeal is rooted in sensible ownership rather than headline-grabbing performance, which is often a good fit if you want a low-drama used car. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a car that has not been maintained well, since even a dependable model can become costly if upkeep has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Sentra?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 587 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.82% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,735 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Sentra's resale value?

The current average of $23,735 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,865 CAD.

That price movement suggests the 2025 Sentra is currently in a softer resale position than it was a year ago. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, but a future seller should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Because the model is positioned around value and everyday usability, it should continue to appeal to practical shoppers rather than premium-seeking buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Sentra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $21,755 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,735 CAD average.
• It offers refreshed styling and improved fuel economy.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more desirable tech and features in a more appealing cabin.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current-market pricing. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative, while the 2026 is worth a look if you want the newer feature set and can stretch your budget.
