Used 2025 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2025 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 23.42% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,795 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for you to compare trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The Rogue is aimed at you if you want a well-rounded compact SUV with a reasonable price tag, a comfortable ride, good fuel economy, and an upscale interior. It also adds more off-road character for 2025 through the Rock Creek trim, while ProPilot Assist 2.1 broadens its tech appeal.

The main trade-offs are modest acceleration and passing power, plus upper trims that are less of a value. Some rivals are also sportier and more fun to drive.

With 36.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to find a strong-value example.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue is presented as a continually updated model that has been improved over time, and its drivetrain is described as smooth and nicely faded into the background during driving. The CVT is also noted for working smoothly rather than adding extra noise or harshness.

Its fuel-friendly turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder helps keep running costs in check, and the overall package is described as easy-going and well rounded. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-mileage examples may still leave you wanting more acceleration than the drivetrain can provide.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S gets standard AWD, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, remote start, and dual-zone climate control, while the SV adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hot spot, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate. The Platinum brings semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 10-speaker Bose audio.
• Powertrain: You get a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder with a CVT and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. It is smooth and efficient, but acceleration is modest.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 are available on higher trims or as options.
• Infotainment: Lower trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims get a 12.3-inch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in capability, and over-the-air-style connected app functionality through Google services.
• Fuel efficiency: The Rogue is rated at 7.6 L/100 km combined, which is a strong figure for a non-electrified compact SUV.

Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is offered in 6 trim levels: S, SV, Midnight Edition, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you standard AWD, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, remote start, and dual-zone climate control. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Rogue without giving up core comfort features.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate. It builds on the S with the kind of equipment you’ll notice every day.
• Midnight Edition: This is the style-focused choice if you want a darker appearance treatment and a more distinctive look.
• SV Premium: This is the step up if you want more convenience and tech without jumping all the way to the top trims.
• SL: This is where you start getting the larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in capability.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious Rogue, with semi-aniline leather, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 10-speaker Bose audio. It suits you if you want the most upscale version and are comfortable paying for it.

The Rock Creek trim joins later in 2025, and it adds a more outdoorsy character with all-terrain tyres, a tubular roof rack, a surround-view camera system, hill descent control, and unique trim details.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have some leverage if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,795 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.42% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $29,999 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $29,999 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,176 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Strong demand for well-equipped, efficient compact SUVs should still help support resale interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2025 Rogue earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and top marks of Good from IIHS in all but one category, where it receives an Acceptable score for side impact testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 are available, along with a surround-view parking camera system and traffic sign recognition.

The main caveat is the IIHS side impact result, which trails the Rogue’s otherwise strong crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.42% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds Rock Creek and ProPilot Assist 2.1, giving you more capability and tech.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,336 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $29,999 CAD average.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps.

The bottom line: If you want the most current mix of value, safety, and available tech, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter budget-focused alternative.
