Used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder for Sale near Grenville, QC

How much does the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 10.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 329 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder earns an 7.3/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It’s a well-rounded three-row SUV that focuses on value, practicality, and everyday usability, with excellent cargo capacity, comfortable seating, and a modern design. The Pathfinder’s broad strengths make it a solid family workhorse, and the Rock Creek trim may offer the best bang for your buck in the three-row SUV market.

The trade-offs are that it does not have a single standout feature that clearly puts it ahead of rivals, its on-road composure is not as strong as some competitors, and its tech is unimpressive.

With 37.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is presented as a solid, reliable experience across ownership, with a tried-and-true 3.5-litre V6 and a nine-speed automatic transmission that replaced the older CVT.

Its powertrain should be familiar to mechanics, and parts should be readily available, which is reassuring if you plan to keep the vehicle for the long haul. The Pathfinder also delivers a practical blend of comfort, safety, and usability that supports everyday dependability.

Nissan’s standard maintenance coverage is not detailed here, but the Pathfinder’s straightforward mechanical setup should help keep ownership predictable for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, your main risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the softer ride, average efficiency, and modest tech will still suit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, Platinum, and Captain’s Chairs trims each bring different equipment levels. The base S misses some comfort and convenience features found higher up, while the Rock Creek adds a more adventurous look, standard all-wheel drive, and 18-inch beadlock-style wheels. The SL and Platinum bring more upscale cabin materials, and the Platinum adds the most luxury touches.
• Powertrain: You get one engine: a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Output varies by trim, and the Rock Creek gets more power than the lower trims. The Pathfinder also includes seven drive modes and hill descent control.
• Safety package: Every trim gets blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and ProPilot Assist. Traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum, so lower trims miss that feature.
• Infotainment: Screen size is 8 inches on the S, SV, and Rock Creek, and 9 inches on the SL and Platinum. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, but wireless projection is limited to the 9-inch screen and only for Apple devices. Navigation is standard only on the SL and Platinum.
• Fuel efficiency: The lower trims return 11.7 L/100 km city, 9.3 highway, and 10.6 combined. The Rock Creek is less efficient at 11.9 L/100 km city, 10.0 highway, and 11.1 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Pathfinder trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in 6 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, Platinum, and Captain’s Chairs.

Here’s the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Pathfinder’s core value proposition: a V6, standard all-wheel drive, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest price and can live without the nicer cabin and tech upgrades.
• SV: This is the trim that adds more everyday comfort and convenience without pushing the price too far. It’s the best-value choice for many shoppers because it balances equipment and cost well.
• Rock Creek: This is the one to choose if you want the Pathfinder’s most distinctive look and a more adventurous personality. It adds all-terrain tyres, a roof rack, and extra power, but it’s less composed on-road and less efficient.
• SL: This is the first trim that meaningfully upgrades the tech and comfort story, with a larger screen, navigation, and more premium features. It’s a strong pick if you want a more polished family SUV.
• Platinum: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with the most upscale materials, the best audio system, and the most available tech. It suits you if you want the most refined Pathfinder.
• Captain’s Chairs: This trim is for buyers who want second-row captain’s chairs and a more premium passenger layout. It’s the most specialised choice rather than the best value.

Traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder?

The market looks moderately favourable for selective buyers right now.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 329 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.32% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,653 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $49,653 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,369 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pathfinder has become more affordable for used buyers, which can make it easier to shop now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means you may face more competition if you try to resell into a softer market.

Because the current average is still well above the year-round low, there is room for pricing to vary meaningfully by trim, condition, and equipment. If you buy carefully now, you may be able to limit depreciation risk better than someone who paid closer to the top of the range.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder safe?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder received a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as well as a five-star overall rating in crash testing performed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Digging deeper, the NHTSA awarded it four stars in overall frontal crash testing and four stars in its roll-over evaluation.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every Pathfinder trim comes with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and Nissan’s ProPilot Assist.

Traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum trim levels.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.32% compared with last year.
• It offers a well-rounded package with excellent cargo capacity, comfortable seating, and strong safety.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more convenience features and a larger touchscreen.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2025 is the stronger buy because pricing has eased and the model already delivers the core Pathfinder strengths. If you’re more focused on updated tech and convenience features, the 2026 is the better path, but price-sensitive buyers should keep the 2025 on their shortlist.
