Used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder for Sale near Greater Madawaska, ON

How much does the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 12.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 329 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It stands out as a well-rounded three-row SUV that focuses on value, practicality, and everyday usability. You get excellent cargo capacity, comfortable seating, and a modern design at a competitive price, which makes it a sensible family haulier rather than a flashy one.

The trade-offs are that it is not as composed on the road as some competitors, and its tech is unimpressive.

The Rock Creek trim may offer especially strong value in the three-row SUV market.

With 39.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

The Pathfinder is described as a solid, reliable experience across ownership, with a tried-and-true 3.5-litre V6 that mechanics should know well and for which parts should be readily available.

Its overall package leans on practicality, comfort, and safety rather than complexity, which can be reassuring if you want a straightforward used SUV. The nine-speed automatic also replaces the older CVT, which helps the driving experience feel more conventional.

If you want lower long-term ownership risk, the Pathfinder’s familiar powertrain and broad standard safety equipment make it a sensible used-buy choice.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The S and SV use cloth seats, while the Rock Creek adds leatherette-and-cloth upholstery with orange accents and a more adventurous look. The SL upgrades to full leather, and the Platinum adds quilted semi-aniline leather, ventilation, and more upscale cabin touches.
• Powertrain: Every Pathfinder uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 with a nine-speed automatic. The Rock Creek gets higher output, while the Platinum and Rock Creek also include a transmission oil cooler and the higher towing rating.
• Safety package: Every trim gets blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and ProPilot Assist. Traffic sign recognition is standard only on the SL and Platinum.
• Infotainment: The S, SV, and Rock Creek use an 8-inch screen, while the SL and Platinum get a 9-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay works only on the 9-inch screen, and wireless Android Auto is not mentioned.
• Fuel efficiency: The Rock Creek returns 11.9 L/100 km in city driving, 10.0 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.1 L/100 km combined. Other trims return 11.7 L/100 km city, 9.3 L/100 km highway, and 10.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Pathfinder trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in 6 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, Platinum, and Captain’s Chairs.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Pathfinder’s core value proposition, including standard all-wheel drive, the full safety suite, and the family-friendly space that defines the model.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a moonroof and keeps the Pathfinder’s practical, well-equipped formula without pushing the price too far up the ladder.
• Rock Creek: This is the one to choose if you want the most distinctive look and a more adventurous personality, plus standard roof rack hardware and all-terrain tyres.
• SL: This is the smart upgrade if you want more comfort and convenience, including leather seats, heated second-row outboard seats, navigation, and traffic sign recognition.
• Platinum: This is the most luxurious choice, with quilted semi-aniline leather, ventilation, the larger driver display, the Bose audio system, and the most available tech.
• Captain’s Chairs: This is the priciest version, and it makes sense if you specifically want second-row captain’s chairs and the most upscale seating layout.

Traffic sign recognition is standard only on the SL and Platinum trim levels.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 329 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,789 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $49,789 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,777 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pathfinder has become more affordable for used buyers, which can help you get more SUV for your money today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect a softer resale environment than last year’s market. If you buy well now, you may still be able to limit depreciation, but the current trend favours shoppers more than sellers.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.
• It keeps the Pathfinder’s value-focused, well-rounded formula while adding slight updates that improve appeal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more convenience features, a larger touchscreen, and refreshed styling.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want a used Pathfinder with strong value and a softer price trend. If you are willing to spend more for newer convenience features and a larger screen, the 2026 is the better upgrade path.
