Used 2025 Nissan Murano for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2025 Nissan Murano cost?

Prices have softened 11.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 141 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — 4/5 from users and 7.33/10 from experts, the 2025 Nissan Murano looks like a strong pick if you want a stylish, comfort-first crossover with a more modern feel than before. The makeover brings a new powertrain, fresh tech, and comfort features into the lineup for the first time, and the Murano’s polished design and extremely comfortable front row help it stand out in Nissan’s crossover range.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The main trade-offs are that the back seat has poor legroom and true hands-free driving is not available. It also loses some features that were previously more affordably accessible in the middle trim, so the upgrade is not universally better across the lineup.

With 34.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Murano’s reliability case is helped by its comfort-focused design and its updated powertrain, which replaces the older setup with a new turbocharged engine and nine-speed automatic. The expert assessment also points to a more modern cabin and a broader set of features, which can make day-to-day ownership feel more polished and less dated.

The new powertrain is described as torquier than the previous V6, and the nine-speed automatic is presented as a substantial improvement over the old CVT. That suggests the 2025 model should feel more refined in regular use, even if it is still a first-year redesign.

If you buy used, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that this is a major redesign with some feature reshuffling, so you’ll want to verify the exact equipment on the trim you’re considering.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you the new look, standard 20-inch wheels, and a modern cabin layout, but the SL adds the glass-inspired dash treatment, Google Built-In, a Bose audio system, ambient lighting, and more advanced driver-assistance tech. The Platinum adds a head-up display and 21-inch wheels, so it is the most fully equipped choice if you want the most premium feel.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Murano uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is rated at 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and all-wheel drive is standard in Canada.
• Safety package: Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also standard, while SL and Platinum get ProPILOT Assist 1.1 plus a more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving object detection and Transparent Hood View.
• Infotainment: Every Murano gets two 12.3-inch screens in a single housing, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and four USB-C ports. The SL adds Google Built-In and a 10-speaker Bose Premium Series audio system, while the Platinum adds a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The Murano is rated at 10.6 L/100 km in the city, 8.6 on the highway, and 9.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Murano trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Murano is offered in 3 trim levels: SV, SL, Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• SV: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the new powertrain, standard AWD, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and the full Safety Shield 360 suite with ProPILOT Assist. It is the best-value trim if you want the redesigned Murano without paying for extras you may not need.
• SL: This is the sweet spot if you want the biggest jump in comfort and tech. It adds Google Built-In, the Bose audio system, ambient lighting, Transparent Hood View, and the more advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1, though it also loses some equipment that used to be more accessible.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most premium version, with the head-up display, 21-inch wheels, and the fullest feature set in the lineup. It is the trim to target if you care most about a near-luxury feel.

The SL and Platinum also get the more advanced safety and visibility upgrades, including the 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor and Transparent Hood View.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 141 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $46,823 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $46,823 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,169 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future sellers have less cushion if depreciation continues. For resale, the key question is whether the redesigned Murano’s stronger styling and improved equipment help it hold interest better than the outgoing generation.

Because the Murano now offers a more modern cabin, standard AWD, and a stronger feature set, it should remain appealing to shoppers who value comfort and style. Still, the current pricing trend shows that used values are under pressure right now, so a future seller may need to price competitively.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Murano safe?

The 2025 Murano earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard, and it includes lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection. ProPILOT Assist is also standard, while SL and Platinum trims get ProPILOT Assist 1.1, which adds navigation-based speed adjustment for curves.

Higher trims also get a more advanced 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor with moving object detection and Transparent Hood View. One caveat is that true hands-free driving is not available, even on the top trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The redesign brings a new powertrain, more modern tech, and a more polished, premium-leaning feel.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest Murano with the best mix of comfort, style, and standard equipment, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you should still shop carefully, because the softer pricing and decent inventory make this a good year to find value, especially if you can live without the top-trim extras.
