What is the 2024 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $22,209 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,405 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and priced competitively, you should still have a reasonable path to a sale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $24,561 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,209 CAD average.
• It adds available all-wheel drive and a more upscale feel.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the lower purchase price and a proven, value-focused formula. If you can stretch your budget and want a more modern, upscale small crossover with available all-wheel drive, the 2025 is the better upgrade path.
