Used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale near Macdougall Settlement, NB

How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 19.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 462 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a refreshed midsize crossover that focuses on comfort, a quiet cabin, and a standout stereo rather than a major mechanical overhaul. The cabin gains new technology and an upgraded sound system, and the suspension tuning is improved for the year, but the powertrain remains a weak point. The main trade-offs are sluggish performance and a cramped third row, so it suits you best if you value a comfortable, well-equipped family SUV more than quick acceleration or maximum passenger space.

With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is positioned as a practical family crossover with standard all-wheel drive and a long warranty, which helps reduce some ownership anxiety for used buyers. Mitsubishi includes a 10-year/160,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty, plus a 5-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and 5-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance.

Its 2.5-litre four-cylinder and CVT are described as adequate but not especially strong, and the expert assessment notes that the vehicle benefits from improved suspension tuning and added sound deadening for 2025. The long warranty coverage is a meaningful plus, but the modest powertrain and crowded segment mean you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition if you plan to keep it for the long haul.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Outlander is available in six trims: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium. Base trims get the essentials, while the top GT Premium stands out with quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, and the best interior presentation.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard S-AWC all-wheel drive. It’s tuned more for comfort than speed, and the fuel economy is not class-leading.
• Safety package: Base models include blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.
• Infotainment: Every Outlander gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims add a larger digital gauge cluster, and the GT Premium includes an available rear camera mirror and head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada gives the Outlander a fuel rating of 8.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 6 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the entry point, and it gives you the standard S-AWC all-wheel drive, the 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the core safety features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the refreshed Outlander.
• SE: This trim is the sensible step up if you want a little more equipment without chasing the highest prices. It should be the best-value choice for many shoppers because it sits above the base model without pushing you into the expensive upper end.
• LE: Move here if you want the added convenience of adaptive cruise control. It’s a worthwhile upgrade if you spend a lot of time on the highway.
• SEL: This trim is for shoppers who want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top. It’s a middle-ground choice if you care about comfort and features more than headline equipment.
• GT: This is where more of the advanced driver-assistance content starts, including lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability. It’s the trim to target if you want the strongest mix of convenience and safety tech.
• GT Premium: This is the most luxurious version, with quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, the 12-speaker, 1,650-watt Yamaha system, and available rear camera mirror and head-up display. It’s the right pick if you want the best interior experience, but it’s also the hardest to justify on value.

The safety package is not fully standard across the range, so you should pay close attention to which trim includes the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers: there’s enough inventory to compare, but you should still move quickly when you find a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 462 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,359 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $34,364 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,472 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face softer resale expectations if the trend continues. If you buy now, you’re entering at a lower average price than a year ago, which can help cushion depreciation. For a future seller, the key risk is that the Outlander’s value may remain under pressure unless demand strengthens or supply tightens.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a four-star rating in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Mitsubishi does not make a full suite of advanced driver assistance features standard on every trim, but the base model still includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability begin at the GT grade.

IIHS has given the Outlander a Good rating for its headlights, but it has not rated anything else for the 2025 model year. That means you should pay close attention to trim choice if safety tech matters to you, since some of the more helpful highway-assist features are not standard on the base vehicle.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.09% compared with last year.
• The refresh adds new tech, an upgraded sound system, and improved suspension tuning without changing the Outlander’s basic formula.

The bottom line: If you want the latest gas Outlander with the refreshed cabin, improved ride tuning, and stronger in-car tech, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s lower average price and broader inventory make it the cleaner buy if you want the updated package.
