Used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearLac-Mégantic, QC

How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 20.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 443 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a midsize crossover that has been lightly sharpened rather than reinvented, with the biggest changes focused on the cabin, new technology, and suspension tuning. That makes it appealing if you value comfort and a quiet cabin, especially since its stereo is a standout feature.

The trade-offs are clear: sluggish performance and a design that may not appeal to everyone. The third row is also cramped, so you should weigh that limitation carefully if you need maximum passenger space.

Only 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly bargain-heavy.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is positioned as a comfort-focused, quiet crossover with a long warranty and a standard all-wheel-drive system, which helps support confidence for everyday use. Its suspension was retuned for 2025, and the expert assessment notes improved comfort and better body control, even if the powertrain itself was left alone.

The performance notes also point to a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT, with the main concern being modest acceleration rather than mechanical complexity. Mitsubishi includes a 10-year/160,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty, which is a strong ownership perk for a used buyer.

For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is less about outright durability and more about living with the Outlander’s underwhelming powertrain and whether the vehicle’s overall package still suits your needs after the warranty period.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Outlander is available in six trims: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium. The base trim gets the standard S-AWC all-wheel-drive system, but the cabin is most impressive in GT Premium, where you get quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, and Yamaha speaker faces in the doors. If you want the best-value balance, the lower trims are the ones most likely to keep the price in check.
• Powertrain: You’re looking at a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT. The expert notes say the Outlander needs more power, and acceleration can feel sluggish, especially when merging or pulling away from a stop.
• Safety package: The standard safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.
• Infotainment: Every Outlander gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get a physical volume knob, a button for the camera system, USB-C ports, and a wireless charging pad. Upper trims add a digital gauge cluster, while GT Premium adds an available rear camera mirror and head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada gives the Outlander a fuel rating of 8.8 litres per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 6 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the trim to start with if you want the Outlander’s core formula at the lowest entry point. You still get standard S-AWC all-wheel drive, the 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the standard safety basics, so it covers the essentials well.
• SE: Move up if you want a little more equipment without jumping too far up the price ladder. The content points to the lower trims as the better value, so this is the kind of trim that can make sense if you want a balanced mix of features and cost.
• LE: This is the first trim that adds adaptive cruise control, so it’s the one to target if highway driving matters to you. It’s also the trim where the safety package starts to expand beyond the basics.
• SEL: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top. It sits in the middle of the range and is a sensible step if you want more equipment but don’t need every luxury feature.
• GT: This is where the safety and convenience tech gets more complete, with lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability. It’s the trim to consider if you want the most useful driver-assistance upgrades.
• GT Premium: This is the most luxurious version, with quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, the 12-speaker, 1,650-watt Yamaha audio system, a rear camera mirror, and a head-up display. It’s the best fit if you care most about cabin ambience and premium features, but the expert notes suggest it’s harder to justify on value alone.

The safety package starts with a solid base set of features, but the more advanced driver-assistance items are reserved for higher trims, so you should pay close attention to where those features begin.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 443 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,344 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $34,344 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,973 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Outlander has become more affordable for used buyers, which can help you get into a newer example for less money. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect softer resale conditions than a year ago.

If you buy at today’s average, your depreciation exposure is already partly reflected in the market. That can be helpful if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value it may retain if you decide to sell sooner.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a four-star rating in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Mitsubishi does not offer a full suite of advanced driver-assistance features as standard, but the base equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.

The safety testing picture is mixed because IIHS has only rated the headlights as Good so far, while other 2025 testing has not been completed. The expert notes also mention that lane centring can struggle to keep the vehicle properly centred on sweeping highway turns.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.08% compared with last year.
• The refresh gives you the newer cabin tech, upgraded sound system, and improved suspension tuning.

The bottom line: If you want the latest gas-powered Outlander with the refreshed interior tech and a more polished ride, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and updated cabin make it the cleaner choice for shoppers who want the newest version without paying peak-market money.
