Used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale near Fitzroy Harbour, ON

How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 18.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 494 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns an expert rating of 6.7/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It makes the most sense if you value a comfortable ride, a quiet cabin, and a standout stereo in a midsize crossover that has been lightly updated rather than reinvented. The trade-offs are clear: sluggish performance and a potentially polarizing design.

The Outlander’s 28.9% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still some attractive listings in the market.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander leans on a long warranty and a straightforward gas powertrain, which should help reduce ownership anxiety for used buyers. Mitsubishi also backs it with a 10-year/160,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty, plus a 5-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and 5-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance.

Its 2.5-litre engine and CVT are not especially exciting, but the setup is conventional and the vehicle’s comfort-focused tuning suggests it is built more for everyday use than hard driving. The long powertrain coverage is a meaningful cushion, though you should still expect long-term ownership risk to centre more on wear items and feature complexity than on outright mechanical drama.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Outlander is available in six trims: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium. The base trim gets blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning, but you need to move up for more advanced driver assistance features. The top GT Premium is the most luxurious choice, with quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, and the best audio setup.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and a CVT, paired with standard S-AWC all-wheel drive. It is tuned for comfort, but acceleration is modest and the transmission can feel droning under hard throttle.
• Safety package: Mitsubishi’s driver-assistance coverage starts with blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control arrives on the LE, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims add a larger digital gauge cluster, and the GT Premium can be equipped with a rear camera mirror and head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada gives the Outlander a fuel rating of 8.8 litres per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 6 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the entry point, and it already gives you standard S-AWC all-wheel drive plus the core safety features, so it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup.
• SE: This is the trim to watch if you want a sensible step up without chasing luxury extras, since it keeps the Outlander’s core strengths while staying closer to the lower end of the range.
• LE: This is the best-value trim if you want more everyday convenience, because it adds adaptive cruise control on top of the base safety kit.
• SEL: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top grades.
• GT: This is where more advanced driver-assistance features begin, including lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability.
• GT Premium: Pick this only if you want the most premium cabin and audio experience, including quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, and the top Yamaha sound system.

The safety package is not fully standard across the lineup, so it is worth checking which driver-assistance features come with the trim you are considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 494 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,090 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $34,090 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,575 CAD.

That drop suggests the Outlander has become more affordable for used buyers, but it also means sellers are facing a softer market than they were a year ago. If you plan to sell later, you should expect depreciation to remain a factor, especially if your vehicle is priced above the current market average. For buyers, that softer pricing can create a better entry point, particularly if you find a well-equipped trim near the lower end of the range.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a four-star rating in rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Mitsubishi does not make a full advanced driver-assistance suite standard on every trim. Base models get blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts on the LE, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability begin at the GT grade.

IIHS has given the Outlander a Good rating for its headlights, but it has not rated anything else for this model year. That limited testing means you should pay close attention to the trim’s safety equipment rather than assuming every version is equally equipped.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.00% compared with last year.
• The refresh matters to you, especially the updated cabin tech, improved sound system, and revised suspension tuning.

The bottom line: If you want the latest gas Outlander with the refreshed interior and improved comfort tuning, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting into an Outlander for less money, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 is the better pick if you value the update package and can find a competitively priced listing.
