Used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearLethbridge, AB

How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 9.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 239 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

It’s a strong but not flawless choice if you want a midsize luxury SUV with broad appeal and a premium feel. You get a 3/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating, which lines up with its mix of strengths and compromises.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The GLE’s appeal comes from its multiple body styles, multiple powertrain options, and stylish interior, which make it feel versatile and upscale for the class. The trade-offs are clear, though: the styling is ungainly, it drives bigger than it looks, and outward visibility is poor.

For shoppers who value Mercedes-Benz branding, a premium cabin, and flexibility in how they configure the SUV, it makes sense. The market also shows 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is positioned as a mainstream Mercedes luxury SUV with a broad feature set and a four-year/80,000-kilometre new-vehicle warranty.

Its powertrain lineup is wide, and the available hybrid and high-output versions add complexity, but the model is still framed as a solid family luxury SUV rather than a fragile one. Mercedes also includes a warranty that is comparable to most other luxury brands.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that higher-spec versions can bring more ownership complexity and potentially higher running costs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLE’s styling and cabin presentation are part of the appeal, and the interior feels upscale with features like 64-colour ambient lighting and the optional Burmester audio system. Base trims may leave you wanting more of the premium touches that make the GLE feel special.
• Powertrain: You have a wide spread of choices, from the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder GLE 350 to the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six GLE 450 4Matic, the GLE 450e 4Matic plug-in hybrid, and the AMG performance models. The GLE 450’s inline-six is especially smooth, while the AMG versions are much more powerful.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, which also adds lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, cross-traffic functionality for automatic emergency braking, and an expanded driver-monitoring system.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses two 12.3-inch screens, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus built-in navigation. The interface can be a bit busy because it offers multiple control methods, but voice recognition helps simplify day-to-day use.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 350 is rated at 10.8 L/100 km combined, the GLE 450e 4Matic is rated at 10.2 L/100 km combined in hybrid mode, and the AMG GLE 63 S is rated at 15.2 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 5 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, GLE 450e 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 4Matic+, AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the value-oriented starting point if you want the GLE experience without stepping into the pricier six-cylinder or AMG models. It still gives you the core luxury-SUV formula, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive in Canada, and the most reasonable fuel consumption in the lineup.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best all-round choice if you want the smoothest balance of performance and refinement. Its inline-six is described as particularly impressive for smoothness, and it suits you if you want more power without jumping to AMG pricing.
• GLE 450e 4Matic: Choose this if you want plug-in hybrid capability and the ability to drive up to 80 kilometres on electric power. It’s the efficiency-focused option for shoppers who can take advantage of charging.
• AMG GLE 53 4Matic+: This is for you if you want a clear performance step up and are willing to pay for it. It adds much more urgency than the standard models and suits buyers who care about speed as much as luxury.
• AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+: This is the top performance choice, with a hand-assembled twin-turbo V8 and the most dramatic character in the range. It’s the one to buy if you want the most powerful and most theatrical GLE.

Adaptive cruise control remains part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, so check whether a used example has that package fitted.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 239 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $97,430 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $97,994 CAD sits slightly below last year's $108,116 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means you should expect more pressure on resale if the model continues to soften.

The current average also sits within a fairly tight year-round range, which suggests values are still being supported by steady demand. If you buy well now, you may be better positioned than someone who paid closer to the higher prices seen a year ago.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 2025 Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is not standard; it’s part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, which also adds lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, cross-traffic functionality for automatic emergency braking, and an expanded driver-monitoring system that can bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver is unresponsive.

The front-crash prevention tech is a weak spot, with “Marginal” and “Acceptable” ratings in standard and optional forms, respectively.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.36% compared with last year.
• The 2025 GLE gives you more body-style choice, including a new GLE 450 4Matic Coupe, while keeping the premium cabin and broad powertrain range.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The six-cylinder GLE 450 gets standard AMG Line exterior styling.

The bottom line: If you want the better shopping environment and broader value opportunity, the 2025 is the smarter pick. If you’re mainly focused on a newer-year update and don’t mind paying more, the 2026 is worth a look; price-sensitive buyers should stay focused on the 2025 and shop the best-equipped example they can find.
