Used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearAjax, ON

How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 11.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 232 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

It’s a qualified yes for you if you want a midsize luxury SUV with a premium cabin, multiple body styles, and broad powertrain choice; the trade-offs are real, but so are the strengths. The user rating is 3/5, and our experts rate it 7.5/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The GLE’s appeal comes from its upscale interior, strong brand presence, and flexibility across standard SUV and Coupe body styles. It also offers multiple powertrain options, which makes it easier to match the vehicle to your priorities, whether that’s efficiency, performance, or a more theatrical AMG setup.

The main compromises are its ungainly styling, the way it drives bigger than it looks, and poor outward visibility. Even so, it remains a solid family luxury SUV if you value Mercedes-Benz polish more than sharp handling.

31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is positioned as a mainstream Mercedes luxury SUV, and its overall package suggests solid day-to-day dependability rather than low-cost ownership. Its powertrain range includes mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, and the inline-six is described as particularly smooth.

The performance notes point to a refined, well-rounded drivetrain lineup, while the cost-effectiveness information shows Mercedes includes a four-year/80,000-kilometre new-vehicle warranty. That helps, but it doesn’t eliminate the usual long-term ownership risk you should expect from a used luxury SUV, especially once warranty coverage ends.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLE’s styling and cabin presentation are a big part of the appeal, especially the upscale interior details and available ambient lighting. Base versions still bring a premium feel, but you should check whether the features you want are included on the specific trim you’re considering.
• Powertrain: You can choose from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder mild hybrid, a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six mild hybrid, a plug-in hybrid with 80 kilometres of electric range, and AMG performance models. The inline-six is described as especially smooth, while the V8 is the most powerful and most dramatic.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, which also adds stop-and-go functionality, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, cross-traffic support, and expanded driver monitoring.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses two 12.3-inch screens with MBUX, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and built-in navigation. You should also check whether the vehicle has the interface features you prefer, since Mercedes gives you several ways to control it.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 350 is rated at 10.8 L/100 km combined, the GLE 450e 4Matic is rated at 10.2 L/100 km combined in hybrid mode, and the AMG GLE 63 S is rated at 15.2 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 5 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450 4Matic, GLE 450e 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 4Matic+, AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the value pick if you want the core GLE experience without chasing performance. It brings the standard turbo-four mild-hybrid setup and the same upscale cabin and tech foundation as the rest of the range, making it the most sensible starting point.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value upgrade if you want more smoothness and stronger passing power. The inline-six mild hybrid is described as particularly impressive for refinement, and it suits you if you want a more relaxed luxury-SUV feel.
• GLE 450e 4Matic: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid option and the ability to drive up to 80 kilometres on electric power. It’s the most efficiency-focused choice in the lineup, especially if your daily driving is short and you can charge regularly.
• AMG GLE 53 4Matic+: This is for you if you want a clear performance step up without going all the way to the top. It adds much more urgency and is the right fit if you want a sportier character while staying below the most extreme model.
• AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+: This is the full-throttle choice, with the hand-assembled twin-turbo V8 and the most dramatic performance in the range. It makes sense if you want the most powerful and most special GLE, and you’re willing to accept the higher running costs.

The safety package is strong overall, but adaptive cruise control remains part of the optional Driver Assistance Package rather than standard equipment.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

It’s a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop carefully and compare listings rather than rushing.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 232 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $96,835 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $96,835 CAD sits slightly below last year's $109,121 CAD.

That price movement suggests the GLE has become more attractive for used buyers than it was a year ago. If you’re planning to sell later, you should expect the market to remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment level.

The good news is that the GLE’s premium badge, broad trim range, and strong feature content should help it stay relevant with shoppers looking for a luxury SUV. The less favourable part is that depreciation has already moved against it, so your best resale outcome will likely come from a well-kept example with desirable options.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS, although its front-crash prevention tech receives only “Marginal” and “Acceptable” ratings in standard and optional forms.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. If you want more capability, the optional Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, stop-and-go functionality, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, cross-traffic support, automatic speed-limit and curve adaptation, and expanded driver monitoring.

The main caveat is that some important assistance features are not standard, so you should verify whether the example you’re considering has the package you want.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.26% compared with last year.
• It offers a broad powertrain range and a strong technology score.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The six-cylinder GLE 450 gets standard AMG Line exterior styling.

The bottom line: If you want the better shopping opportunity, the 2025 is the stronger used-buying target because prices have eased and inventory is available. If you’re mainly focused on a newer appearance update and don’t mind paying more, the 2026 is worth a look; otherwise, the 2025 gives you the better value path.
