How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC cost?

There are 281 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns 4/5 from users and 8.33/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Look and feel at 10/10.

It comes across as a handsome and compelling compact luxury SUV that fits most duties, with a simple, measured approach that keeps it easy to live with. The 2025 model also adds a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle variant, while the overall package still leans on strong driving dynamics, good size, and cargo room.

The main trade-offs are a buzzy engine note and a tighter back seat, plus an infotainment system that can be complicated to use. For you, that means the GLC makes the most sense if you want a refined luxury SUV that balances everyday usability with polished road manners.

Only 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than deeply discounted.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC is presented as a balanced, well-rounded luxury SUV with a measured approach, and its expert evaluation backs up that impression with strong marks for performance, form and function, and safety. Its powertrains and chassis tuning are described as solid and composed, which is the kind of foundation you want for long-term ownership.

The performance notes also point to reassuring everyday behaviour: power delivery feels right around town and on the highway, the ride is well controlled, and braking is adequate in all scenarios. That kind of consistency usually helps a used vehicle age more gracefully because it reduces the chance that the car feels worn out before its time.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is more about complexity than basic capability, especially if you’re drawn to higher-spec versions with more equipment.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLC’s premium cabin materials and upscale design are a major part of its appeal, but some desirable touches are extra-cost items. Base versions still give you the core luxury look and feel, while higher-spec examples can add more comfort and visual polish.
• Powertrain: In Canada, all GLC models use 4Matic all-wheel drive. The entry-level setup pairs a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with a nine-speed automatic, while the 350e adds a 23.3-kWh battery pack and single electric motor for stronger combined output and impressive electric range.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, active parking assistance, automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and active braking assistance. The available Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control with steering assist and stop-and-go capability, lane-change assist with automatic lane change, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, evasive manoeuvring, and speed limit assist.
• Infotainment: The centre 11.9-inch touchscreen is part of the latest MBUX system, and wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and Android Auto are included. The system can take time to learn because the haptic controls and touchscreen response are not always intuitive.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLC 350e is the thriftier choice, with an 87-kilometre electric range and strong hybrid efficiency. The 300 also benefits from a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that adds extra torque and helps efficiency in everyday driving.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC is offered in 2 trim levels: GLC 300 and GLC 350e 4Matic.

Here's the short version:

• GLC 300: This is the better starting point if you want the core GLC experience at the lower entry price. You still get 4Matic all-wheel drive, the 2.0-litre turbo-four, the nine-speed automatic, and a strong list of standard driver-assistance and connectivity features. It’s the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• GLC 350e 4Matic: Choose this if fuel savings and electric driving matter most to you. It adds the plug-in hybrid system, a 23.3-kWh battery pack, and much stronger combined output, making it the more efficient and more advanced option for buyers who can take advantage of charging.

The available Driver Assistance Package adds a meaningful safety upgrade if you want more advanced highway support.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare but not so much that every listing is heavily discounted.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 281 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $66,703 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC's resale value?

The current average of $66,703 CAD sits slightly below last year's $74,998 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make future resale a little more competitive for sellers. If you buy now, you may be entering at a softer point in the cycle, which can help if prices stabilise later.

For a future seller, the key question is whether the GLC’s premium image and broad appeal can offset the current downward trend. Well-equipped examples with the right mileage and condition should still attract interest, especially because this model year combines luxury, practicality, and strong everyday usability.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with blind-spot monitoring, active parking assistance, automatic high beams, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and active braking assistance. The available Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control with steering assist and stop-and-go capability, lane-change assist with automatic lane change, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, evasive manoeuvring, and speed limit assist.

Those systems are described as smooth and harmonious in use, with adaptive cruise control and steering assist making stop-and-go traffic easier to manage. The main caveat is that some of the more advanced driver-assistance features are tied to the optional package rather than being standard.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle variant and keeps the GLC’s balanced, practical character.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,811 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $66,703 CAD average.
• It offers strong everyday usability with a more polished ride than its predecessor.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with the plug-in hybrid option and softer pricing than last year, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
