Used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearScarborough, ON

How much does the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have softened 2.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 206 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a small, affordable, efficient car that feels more polished than many rivals, with stylish design and enjoyable driving dynamics. It is available as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback, so you can choose the body style that fits your needs best.

The trade-offs are clear: the technology experience is outdated, the back seat is cramped, and rear visibility is poor. Even so, it remains appealing if you want a compact car that feels more special than a typical commuter.

33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a healthy share of attractive offers in the market.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is described as aging gracefully, and it still feels refined, sophisticated, and enjoyable to drive. Its standard 2.5-litre engine is smooth, quiet, and refined across the rev range, which supports confidence in everyday use.

Mazda also includes a complimentary two-year subscription to Mazda Connected Services in Canada, which adds some ownership value early on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s older technology and packaging compromises may feel more noticeable over time than its mechanical strengths.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: GX, GS, GT, and the hatchback-exclusive Suna Edition are the main trims to compare. The base setup is more basic, while GT and higher trims add more upscale equipment and, in Canada, Amazon Alexa Built-in.
• Powertrain: The standard 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes 191 horsepower, while turbocharged versions add much more output. The turbo engine requires premium fuel for its full output.
• Safety package: The Mazda3 includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. Manual-transmission versions do not get stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is unavailable.
• Infotainment: The system uses an 8.8-inch or 10.25-inch display, depending on version. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are limited to GT trim and higher, and the system still relies heavily on physical controls.
• Fuel efficiency: The manual transmission is rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna Edition.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point if you want the Mazda3’s style, refinement, and safety without stretching the budget. It gives you the core Mazda experience, but it is the least equipped choice.
• GS: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more everyday flexibility while staying below the higher-priced versions. If you want a balanced mix of equipment and value, start here.
• GT: This is the trim to choose if you want the richer feature set, wireless smartphone connectivity, and the strongest enthusiast appeal. It is also the trim where the turbocharged engine comes in.
• Suna Edition: This hatchback-only model sits at the top of the range and is aimed at buyers who want the most distinctive version of the Mazda3.

The safety package is a strength across the range, but manual-transmission versions miss stop-and-go capability and lane centring assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,402 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $28,069 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,743 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, which can make future resale more competitive if you purchase at the right price. If you buy near the lower end of the range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 safe?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a “Top Safety Pick+” rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the highest possible rating, and the maximum five stars in all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash tests, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. Because of the manual transmission in our test car, it did not include stop-and-go capability. Lane centring assist is also unavailable.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds Amazon Alexa Built-in to GT and higher trims, plus the new Suna Edition hatchback.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,780 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $28,069 CAD average.
• It offers a wide range of configurations and a more flexible compact-car setup.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Mazda3’s upscale cabin feel and spirited driving character while adding available all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best fit if you want the current-year mix of style, safety, and driving enjoyment. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 is worth a look if you want the latest version of the same formula.
