How much does the 2025 Mazda CX-30 cost?

Prices have softened 6.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a small crossover that feels like a meaningful step up from a subcompact SUV. It offers more space inside, a premium-quality interior, and a larger, more powerful engine than the Mazda CX-3, while also delivering the stylish design and fun-to-drive character Mazda is known for. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a crossover that prioritises refinement, safety, and driving enjoyment over maximum practicality. 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CX-30 is described as well-equipped and safety-focused, with standard i-Activ all-wheel drive and G-Vectoring Control Plus in later model years, plus top safety ratings from major U.S. safety organisations. It also comes with a solid list of driver-assist safety features, which adds confidence for everyday use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright dependability and more about whether the compact cabin and limited cargo space will still suit your needs over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda CX-30?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 363 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,474 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $31,474 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,509 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully today, but it also means future sellers may face a market that is still adjusting. If the CX-30 continues to hold its reputation for style, safety, and a premium-feeling cabin, that should help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $29,103 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $31,474 CAD average.
• It adds USB-C ports and an available larger infotainment screen.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds Kuro Edition trims, drivetrain and suspension enhancements, and an available larger infotainment screen.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better all-around pick if you want the strongest balance of value, satisfaction, and current-market availability. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative.
