Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Mazda CX-30, and it fits buyers who want a small crossover that feels like a step up from a subcompact SUV. The overview points to more interior space, a premium-quality cabin, and a larger, more powerful engine than the Mazda CX-3, along with stylish design and fun-to-drive character. It is especially appealing if you want a crossover instead of a sedan or hatchback, but you still care about refinement and driving enjoyment. 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

The overview also highlights standard all-wheel drive, a strong safety focus, and top safety ratings, all of which support confidence in everyday use. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on standout listings.

• Inventory: There are 360 listings available.

What is the 2025 Mazda CX-30's resale value?

The current average of $31,429 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,500 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale values may face some pressure if the market stays competitive. If you plan to sell later, the CX-30’s premium feel and strong safety reputation should help it stay appealing to used shoppers. The current price trend suggests you may not see rapid appreciation, but you can still expect steady interest from buyers who want a stylish small crossover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda CX-30 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $29,101 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $31,429 CAD average.
• It adds USB-C ports, a larger available screen, and a new Suna trim.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds Kuro Edition trims, drivetrain and suspension enhancements, and a larger available infotainment screen.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-priced CX-30 with strong satisfaction and decent deal availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the newest updates and can pay more.
