Used 2025 MINI Countryman for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2025 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 16.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 129 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman a good car?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns an 6.83/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It suits you best if you want a small crossover with expressive styling, BMW engineering, and a playful driving character rather than maximum polish. The trade-offs are clear: dissatisfying steering and poor ride quality make it feel rough around the edges, and unintuitive technology can add frustration. Even so, its multiple powertrain options and distinctive personality help it stand out in entry-level luxury territory.

Only 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards selective shopping.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman reliable?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is presented as a distinctive small crossover with BMW engineering and a broad set of standard features, but it is also described as rough around the edges.

Its powertrain is a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, and the write-up notes that the DCT can be clunky at times. The cost-effectiveness commentary also makes clear that you should buy it for heritage, personality, rarity, and driving experience rather than pure practicality.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its quirks and refinement issues may become tiring if you want an easygoing daily driver.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Countryman S is the popular choice, the John Cooper Works All4 offers the most power and performance, and the SE All4 is the electric model with an estimated 341 kilometres of range. The S and SE can be paired with Classic or Favoured style packages, while the JCW gets Premier+ standard. The Favoured style adds a more distinctive look and feel, while the test vehicle’s 20-inch wheels and adaptive damping suspension helped sharpen the personality.
• Powertrain: The Countryman S uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It makes 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and Mini says it can reach 100 km/h in roughly 6.4 seconds. The write-up also notes that the DCT can feel clunky and that paddle shifters are absent on the S.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and Mini Assist eCall with an SOS button and automatic collision notification. Driving Assistant Professional is available as part of the Premier+ package and adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane-centring assist.
• Infotainment: The Countryman uses a round 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, cloud-based navigation with augmented video, and over-the-air connected services. The system is feature-rich, but the menus are deep and the interface can be frustrating to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The official estimate is 8.7 L/100 km in combined driving, and the test vehicle returned 9.6 L/100 km.

Which 2025 MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is offered in 3 trim levels: S All4, John Cooper Works All4, and SE All4.

Here's the short version:

• S All4: This is the popular choice and the best-value pick for most shoppers because it delivers the core Countryman experience with the standard turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, standard all-wheel drive, and the playful character that defines the model. It suits you if you want the Countryman’s style and fun factor without stretching to the pricier variants.
• John Cooper Works All4: Choose this if you want the most power and performance. It is the most expensive gas model and comes with the more aggressive character you’d expect from the JCW name, making it the right fit if driving enjoyment matters most.
• SE All4: Pick this if you want the electric version and its estimated 341 kilometres of range. It is the right choice if you want the Countryman shape and personality in EV form.

Driving Assistant Professional is available as part of the Premier+ package, so check the safety equipment carefully if that feature matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,409 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $42,409 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,694 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you plan to sell later, the Countryman’s resale value will likely depend heavily on how much buyers still value its style, rarity, and driving character. Its distinctive appeal may help it hold interest, but its rougher refinement could limit demand among more practical shoppers.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman safe?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and Mini Assist eCall with an SOS button and automatic collision notification. Driving Assistant Professional, available as part of the Premier+ package, adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane-centring assist.

One caveat is that the lane-centring system still expects active steering input, and the vehicle can repeatedly remind you to keep your hands on the wheel even when they are already there.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.34% compared with last year.
• Redesigned styling, multiple powertrain choices, and a more spacious cabin make it the more distinctive pick.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,198 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,409 CAD average.
• It offers a familiar, stylish MINI formula with a well-known package.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the redesigned Countryman’s extra space, updated personality, and broader powertrain range. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter value play, especially if you’re comfortable with the older formula.
