Used 2025 MINI Cooper for Sale nearMontreal, QC

How much does the 2025 MINI Cooper cost?

Prices have softened 5.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 139 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper a good car?

Yes — the 2025 MINI Cooper earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall appeal for shoppers who value character and driving enjoyment. The model is redesigned for 2025, with more room inside and out, while still keeping the playful personality that has long defined the nameplate. It also remains light at less than 1,400 kilograms, which helps it feel lively and agile on the road.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Its turbocharged four-cylinder and sporty dynamics make it sound like a genuinely entertaining everyday car, and the cabin’s quirky design helps preserve the MINI feel. The trade-offs are clear, though: the infotainment is called terrible, and you no longer get a manual transmission as standard, so shifting for yourself costs extra.

With 35.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 MINI Cooper is presented as a redesigned model that still keeps the small-car charm buyers expect, and its light weight and lively character suggest a simple, engaging ownership experience. The expert assessment also notes solid overall fuel economy, which can help keep day-to-day running costs in check.

The performance notes describe the car as having generally good shift logic and a powertrain that feels enthusiastic and well matched to the chassis. On the cost side, the model’s pricing structure and available equipment packages suggest plenty of configuration flexibility, which can help you choose a version that fits your budget and needs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the car has been properly maintained and that any braking-system recall has been addressed before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Cooper?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin has a distinctive new design, standard heating for the front seats and steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof on non-convertible four-door models, but the base setup still leans heavily on the touchscreen for most controls. You should check whether the features you want are included, especially if you are comparing a lower trim with a better-equipped one.
• Powertrain: The turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and front-wheel drive. The base model makes 161 horsepower, while the Cooper S increases output to 201 hp and adds a more energetic driving character.
• Safety package: In Canada, the car comes standard with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality is optional.
• Infotainment: The round 9.4-inch touchscreen runs Mini’s latest Operating System 9 software. Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and dual-zone climate control are standard, and there are several USB-C outlets throughout the cabin.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2025 Mini Cooper achieves a Natural Resources Canada rating of between 7.3 and 7.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined depending on the configuration.

Which 2025 MINI Cooper trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Cooper is offered in 4 trim levels: Cooper C three-door, Cooper C four-door, Cooper S three-door, Cooper S four-door.

Here's the short version:

• Cooper C three-door: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core MINI experience at the lowest price. It suits you best if you want the brand’s style and personality without stretching for extra power.
• Cooper C four-door: Choose this if you want the same basic setup with easier rear-seat access and a bit more everyday practicality.
• Cooper S three-door: This is the best-value trim if you care most about driving enjoyment. It adds the more powerful turbocharged engine and the strongest enthusiast appeal in the lineup.
• Cooper S four-door: Pick this if you want the stronger engine and a little more usability for passengers, while still keeping the MINI’s playful character.

Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go is optional, so check whether a used example has it if that matters to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Cooper?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 139 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $38,513 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Cooper's resale value?

The current average of $38,513 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,804 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a good entry point for you as a buyer, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays competitive. The current year-round range suggests there is still some ceiling above the average, which can help well-kept examples hold value better than rougher ones. Strong demand for distinctive small cars can support resale, especially when the vehicle has the right equipment and condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 MINI Cooper safe?

The 2025 Mini Cooper has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

In Canada, it comes standard with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality is optional. The expert notes also flag that the adaptive cruise system can be laggy and slow to accelerate after slowing down, and it can be confused by cars cutting into your lane.

You should also make sure any recall work has been completed before buying, since the integrated braking system has already been recalled.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Cooper or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model brings a redesigned cabin, more room inside and out, and new infotainment tech while keeping the MINI’s playful personality.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the MINI Cooper’s design, tech, and packaging, the 2025 model is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry price, but you give up some of the 2025 redesign’s updates.
