Used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 17.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 116 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid is a worthy consideration if you value comfort, refinement, and a quiet cabin over a more animated driving experience. It is a midsize two-row SUV with hybrid, performance hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrain choices, plus a range of packages aimed at different customer needs.

Its expert rating is 6.5/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Trade-offs: It lacks dynamic communication, and its steering wheel controls can be distracting.

For buyers who want a plush, tech-rich luxury SUV rather than a sporty one, that balance makes sense. The market also shows 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid reliable?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid leans on Lexus’s long-standing reputation for reliability, and the expert review reinforces that it is a cost-effective choice in this class. It also comes with a four-year/80,000-kilometre new-car warranty and an eight-year/160,000-kilometre hybrid system warranty.

The performance notes point to a hybrid system that is efficient in the RX 350h, while the RX 500h trades efficiency for stronger acceleration. The cost-effectiveness commentary also highlights that the RX Hybrid is a sensible pick if you want lower running costs and broad model choice.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about choosing the right version for your priorities, since some trims and powertrains are more efficient and easier to live with than others.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RX 350h is the base model, while the RX 500h is the sportier choice and the RX 450h+ is the plug-in hybrid. The base model gives you the broadest range of package choices, while the RX 450h+ is only available with the Executive package. The RX 500h adds more aggressive styling and hardware, but the review suggests it is more about sporty appearance and straight-line acceleration than overall dynamic satisfaction.
• Powertrain: The RX 350h uses a 2.5-litre hybrid powertrain with 246 hp and is the most efficient model. The RX 500h uses a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with 366 hp and a six-speed automatic, while the RX 450h+ uses the same gas engine with a larger battery pack and a more powerful electric drive motor for 304 hp.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, and adaptive cruise control. Every RX Hybrid also gets blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Proactive Driving Assist is part of the suite, and the available surround-view camera is described as a must-have upgrade.
• Infotainment: The RX 500h features a 14-inch touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a cloud-based navigation system through Drive Connect. Lexus Interface also includes a volume knob and large climate dials, but the steering wheel controls are distracting to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350h is rated at 6.5 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving. The RX 450h+ is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined, while the RX 500h is rated at 8.6 L/100 km combined and was measured at 13.5 L/100 km on the test loop.

Which 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid is offered in 3 trim levels: RX 350h, RX 500h, RX 450h+.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350h: This is the best-value choice if you want the most efficient RX Hybrid with the widest range of package options. It gives you the core Lexus comfort, refinement, and standard all-wheel drive without paying for the extra performance hardware of the RX 500h.
• RX 500h: Choose this if you want the strongest acceleration and the most performance-focused hardware, including the sport-tuned adaptive damping suspension, standard 21-inch wheels, Direct4 AWD, performance brakes, and rear-wheel steering. It suits you best if you care more about power and equipment than fuel economy.
• RX 450h+: Pick this if you want plug-in hybrid capability and the Executive package. It is the right fit if you want electric-only driving for shorter trips and are willing to pay more for that flexibility.

The RX 450h+ is only available with the Executive package, so trim choice is partly determined for you there.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $66,742 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $66,742 CAD sits slightly below last year's $80,871 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX Hybrid has become more approachable for used buyers than it was a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year's average. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle is equipped relative to the market.

Is the 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid safe?

The 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, but the IIHS gives it a Poor rating for occupant protection in an updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Proactive Driving Assist. Safety Connect is also included for up to ten years and adds automatic collision notification, SOS emergency assistance, and roadside assistance access.

The main caveat is the IIHS result, which is a meaningful concern if crash-test performance is a top priority for you. The available surround-view camera is a useful upgrade, and the review suggests it should be standard on more expensive versions.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.47% compared with last year.
• The 2025 brings a broad mix of hybrid, performance hybrid, and plug-in hybrid choices, plus a strong reputation for reliability and refinement.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The RX 500h F Sport Performance gets more power from its hybrid turbocharged setup.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, choice, and current market softness, the 2025 is the better buy. If you are focused on the newest powertrain tuning and are willing to pay more for it, the 2026 is worth a look. Price-sensitive buyers should prioritise the 2025 RX 350h, while shoppers who want the latest performance-oriented setup can compare directly with the 2026.
