It also gives you a wide range of powertrain choices, including a 203-horsepower 2.5-litre engine, a turbocharged 2.4-litre option, a conventional hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid with up to 60 kilometres of electric range. Is the 2025 Lexus NX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for its excellent reliability record and strong reputation for lasting well. Lexus has kept the NX’s basic premise and appearance largely intact over time, which reinforces its familiar formula of dependability and luxury.

That makes it a sensible choice if you want a premium compact SUV that should be a lower-risk long-term ownership bet than many rivals.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 313 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,908 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $49,908 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,171 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for you as a buyer, but it also means a future seller may face more price pressure than someone who sold a year ago. If you buy now, the NX’s strong reputation for dependability should help support its value over time. Even so, the softer pricing trend means you should focus on buying well, because resale gains are less likely to offset an overpay.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.71% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $59,802 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $49,908 CAD average.
• It shifts the lineup toward more affordable hybrid choices.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the better value today, especially with softer pricing and a decent share of deal listings. If you are price-sensitive and want to compare the broader lineup changes, the 2026 is worth a look, but it asks for more money upfront.
