How much does the 2025 Lexus NX cost?

Is the 2025 Lexus NX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out because it blends distinctive styling, strong reliability, and a wide spread of powertrain choices. Lexus gives it standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and the lineup includes a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder engine with 203 horsepower, a 2.4-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with 275 horsepower, a conventional hybrid with 239 horsepower, and a plug-in hybrid with 302 horsepower and a pure-electric range of up to 60 kilometres.

That breadth makes the NX unusually flexible for you if you want either efficiency or more performance without leaving the model line. It is also notable for how much technology Lexus has packed into the cabin, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration even in base form, plus available features such as a power moonroof, leather upholstery, a Mark Levinson premium audio system, Lexus Digital Key, a wireless charger, and power-folding rear seats.

The NX is not the most rewarding drive in the segment or the most practical, and many desirable features are bundled into option packs. Even so, its upscale feel and distinctive design make it appealing if you value long-term dependability and a premium experience more than outright dynamic finesse.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that desirable features may be tied to option packs, so the exact example you choose can matter a lot.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 288 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,782 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $51,462 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,741 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the NX easier to shop now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means you should expect more price sensitivity if you plan to trade or sell later. If you buy well today, you may be better positioned to absorb some depreciation, but the current trend still points to a softer resale environment than last year.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.86% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $61,163 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $51,462 CAD average.
• It adds more affordable hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the stronger value proposition and more room to negotiate. If you are price-sensitive and mainly want the newest version with updated hybrid pricing, the 2026 is worth a look, but you will pay more for it on average.
