Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.55% compared with last year.
• If you find a listing below $22,516 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $22,888 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,493 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the NX has moved into a more buyer-friendly part of its cycle, which can be helpful if you are planning to own it for a few years before selling. A lower entry price can reduce your upfront exposure, but it also means future resale gains may be more modest if the market stays soft. Even so, the model’s strong owner satisfaction should help support steady demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.55% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the NX’s distinctive styling, comfort, and strong owner approval, the 2017 is a sensible choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-priced examples, since the market still offers some room to negotiate.
