How much does the 2025 Lexus NX cost?

Is the 2025 Lexus NX a good car?

The 2025 Lexus NX stands out for combining distinctive styling, strong reliability, and a wide spread of powertrain choices. It is also a fraction larger than before, with a more minimalist cabin centred around a large touchscreen display.

What makes it especially appealing is the breadth of its lineup, along with standard all-wheel drive in Canada and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the base model. Buyers who want a sportier feel can look to F Sport models, which add adaptive variable suspension, cosmetic changes, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

For shoppers who value a premium feel, strong fuel economy in hybrid form, and long-term confidence, the 2025 Lexus NX has a clear appeal. 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lexus NX reliable?

The 2025 Lexus NX’s biggest strength remains its reputation for dependability. Lexus was named top brand overall in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study for the second year running, and the NX took first place in the compact premium SUV sector.

That makes it a strong fit if you want a used luxury SUV with a reputation for long-term confidence. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about reliability and more about choosing the right trim and options for your budget.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus NX?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 321 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,179 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus NX's resale value?

The current average of $50,179 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,882 CAD.

That price movement suggests the NX has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer resale environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy at today’s average, your room for appreciation is limited unless market conditions improve. For a future seller, the upside is strongest if you choose a well-equipped, desirable trim and keep mileage and condition in check.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.31% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $59,789 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $50,179 CAD average.
• It drops the base model and shifts the lineup toward more affordable hybrids.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better value if you want a lower entry price and more room to shop. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2025 is the smarter starting point; if you want the newer lineup structure and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is worth a look.
