Is the 2025 Kia Carnival a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Kia Carnival, and it lines up with a vehicle that prioritises family practicality, adult-friendly third-row space, and a low step-in height. The Carnival also brings a lot of standard technology and driver-assist features, plus an available VIP Lounge second row for a more upscale feel. If you want a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped family vehicle with a more expressive design than a typical minivan, this model year fits that brief well. 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Carnival’s appeal comes from its practical packaging, comfortable cabin, and broad equipment list, all of which support everyday usability. It also keeps the low step-in height and roomy interior that make it easier to live with than many larger SUVs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should still inspect any example carefully for wear tied to family use and high passenger duty.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Carnival?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be choosy without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 216 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,687 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Carnival's resale value?

The current average of $41,777 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,210 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Carnival easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase at the right price, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who bought when values were higher. Strong demand for practical family vehicles can help support resale, especially when the vehicle is well equipped and in good condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Carnival or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,861 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,777 CAD average.
• It offers a strong value proposition with a stylish design and a polished driving experience.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the updated styling, broader equipment, and a market that has already softened meaningfully. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value-focused path, especially if you can live without the newer refresh.
