Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out because it blends three-row practicality with the kind of capability Jeep buyers expect. It is a larger midsize variant with third-row seats, and its appeal is built around off-road ability, strong towing capacity, and an interior that is both spacious and luxuriously refined.

For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a three-row SUV that feels upscale, can carry people comfortably, and still has genuine capability away from pavement. It is also a strong fit if towing matters and you want a family vehicle with more character than a typical crossover.

24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is presented as a capable, upscale three-row SUV with a strong feature set and a clear focus on utility, comfort, and off-road hardware. Its appeal is rooted in its spacious packaging, standard four-wheel drive in Canada, and the availability of well-equipped trims.

For long-term ownership, you should weigh its premium positioning and complexity against how you plan to use it, since a vehicle built around capability and luxury can bring higher upkeep expectations than a simpler family SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 266 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.37% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,510 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $60,511 CAD sits slightly below last year's $72,358 CAD.

For a future seller, that kind of decline means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later, but you should still expect this model to move with the broader used-market trend.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range and value the current market softness, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may be the better secondary path for price-sensitive buyers.
