Used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid for Sale near Elmvale, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 9.11% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 351 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and body styles.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for everyday use.

The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

The Civic Hybrid’s appeal comes from its new hybrid option, which adds more power and significantly improved fuel economy to an already attractive compact car. It also offers sedan and hatchback body styles, so you can choose the layout that fits your needs better.

The main trade-off is that all-wheel drive is not available, so you’ll need to look elsewhere if that matters to you. The hybrid’s market position is still healthy, with 28.5% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Civic Hybrid’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward hybrid setup, smooth operation, and the fact that Honda has tuned it for comfort and everyday use rather than complexity. The powertrain is described as responsive, quiet, and seamless in normal driving, which is the kind of behaviour that usually supports confidence over time.

It also benefits from a strong efficiency story, with the hybrid expected to save about 2 litres per 100 kilometres on average in combined driving versus the outgoing turbo powertrain. That kind of operating efficiency can make ownership feel easier and more predictable.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the hybrid system itself and more about choosing a car that fits your needs, since the lack of all-wheel drive may push some shoppers toward other options.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is already one of the nicest in the class, but higher trims add a digital instrument panel that gives the interior a more high-tech feel. The top trim also brings more luxury and technology, so base versions are the ones most likely to feel light on features.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for 200 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. It is tuned for smooth, quiet, responsive driving, and it is expected to save 2 litres per 100 kilometres on average in combined driving versus the outgoing turbo powertrain.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a traffic sign reader, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The top trim adds parking-speed automatic braking, parking proximity sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.
• Infotainment: The base system has a seven-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker audio system, and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top trim upgrades to a nine-inch touchscreen, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, wireless smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, and Google Built-in.
• Fuel efficiency: Honda estimates 4.8 L/100 km combined for the sedan and 5.0 L/100 km combined for the hatchback.

Which 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is offered in 2 trim levels: Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Sport Hybrid: This is the entry point to the hybrid lineup and the better value if you want the new hybrid powertrain without paying for the top-end tech extras. It gives you the core efficiency and performance benefits of the hybrid system while keeping the price more approachable.
• Sport Touring Hybrid: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete Civic Hybrid experience. It adds the digital instrument panel, larger touchscreen, Bose audio, wireless smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, and Google Built-in, making it the best fit if you value convenience and technology.

The top trim also gets the added safety and convenience items noted in the safety package, so it is the one to target if those features matter most.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 351 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,632 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $32,634 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,904 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better buying leverage today, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations if the model continues to soften. If you buy at the right price now and keep the car in strong condition, you should be in a better position to limit depreciation pain later.

The Civic Hybrid’s broad appeal should help support demand, especially because it combines efficiency, comfort, and a more conventional driving feel than many hybrids. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid safe?

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid earns five-star ratings in overall, side, and rollover protection, and four-star ratings for frontal collisions from NHTSA. It also earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ honour, with Good scores in all evaluations except forward crash prevention, where it scored Acceptable, and seatbelt reminders, which are rated Marginal.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a traffic sign reader, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The top trim adds parking-speed automatic braking, parking proximity sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.

The main caveat is the Marginal seatbelt reminder result, which is worth keeping in mind if safety performance is a top priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings a new hybrid option, a slight styling refresh, and new features to the Civic lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the newest hybrid Civic with stronger power, better efficiency, and updated features, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 offers the most compelling mix of efficiency, comfort, and equipment.
