Used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid for Sale nearElliot Lake, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 10.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 361 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of choice in the market.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

It stands out as an affordable and attractive compact car that adds a new hybrid option to the Civic lineup, along with a slight styling refresh and new features. The hybrid setup brings more power and significantly improved fuel economy, while the sedan and hatchback body styles give you useful flexibility.

The main trade-offs are that all-wheel drive is not available, and the top equipment and tech are concentrated in the upper trim. Even so, 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Civic Hybrid is presented as a polished, comfortable, and efficient compact car, and the hybrid powertrain is described as smooth, quiet, and seamless in operation. The expert drive notes also point to responsive power delivery, quiet cruising, and a suspension tune that favours comfort without making the car feel unsettled.

Its dependability case is strengthened by the fact that the hybrid system is described as sharing hardware with other Honda hybrids, which suggests a mature approach rather than an unproven setup. If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is more about choosing the right trim and condition than worrying about the core hybrid concept.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is already one of the nicest in the class, but higher trims add a digital instrument panel and a more upscale feel. The base setup is simpler, so you should check whether the features you want are present before you buy.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors for 200 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. It is tuned for smooth, quiet, everyday driving and is expected to save 2 litres per 100 kilometres on average in combined driving versus the outgoing turbo powertrain.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a traffic sign reader, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The top Touring trim adds automatic braking at parking lot speeds, parking proximity sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.
• Infotainment: The base LX gets a seven-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker audio system, and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top Sport Touring Hybrid upgrades to a nine-inch touchscreen, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, wireless smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, and Google Built-in.
• Fuel efficiency: Honda estimates 4.8 L/100 km combined for the sedan and 5.0 L/100 km combined for the hatchback. The hybrid is also described as saving about 2 litres per 100 kilometres on average in combined driving versus the outgoing turbo setup.

Which 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is offered in 2 trim levels: Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Sport Hybrid: This is the better-value choice if you want the hybrid powertrain, strong efficiency, and the core Civic Hybrid experience without paying for the top-end tech extras. It adds a sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control over the supporting non-hybrid Sport trim.
• Sport Touring Hybrid: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete package. It adds the digital instrument panel, larger nine-inch touchscreen, 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging pad, and Google Built-in, making it the most tech-forward version.

The top Touring trim also extends automatic braking to parking lot speeds and adds parking proximity sensors and rain-sensing wipers.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 361 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.65% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $32,524 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $32,617 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,504 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that a softer market can mean more competition from similar listings, so condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter more. If you buy well now, you may be better positioned to hold value later as the market normalizes.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid safe?

The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid earns Top Safety Pick+ from the IIHS and five-star ratings in overall, side, and rollover protection from NHTSA, with four stars for frontal collisions.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a traffic sign reader, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The top Touring trim extends automatic braking to parking lot speeds and adds parking proximity sensors and rain-sensing wipers.

One caveat is that the IIHS rated the forward crash prevention system as Acceptable and the seatbelt reminders as Marginal, so the Civic is strong overall but not flawless in every test area.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 brings a new hybrid option, a slight styling refresh, and new features that reinforce its appeal as an affordable and attractive compact car.

The bottom line: If you want the newest hybrid Civic with strong efficiency, good comfort, and a market that has already softened, the 2025 is the right place to start. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should still compare nearby model years and trim levels, but the 2025 offers a compelling mix of value, equipment, and everyday usability.
