How much does the 2025 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 9.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — owners give it 5/5, which points to very strong satisfaction with the ownership experience. The review summary repeatedly highlights excellent fuel efficiency, a comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features, with handling and performance also standing out for many owners. In practical terms, that lines up well with the CR-V’s role as a five-passenger compact crossover built for everyday ease of use, space, and convenience. With 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience through its emphasis on reliability, comfort, and the confidence owners feel in the vehicle over time. That kind of feedback matters if you want a used SUV you can count on for daily driving and longer ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying too much for a well-liked model, so condition and maintenance history still matter even when owner sentiment is this strong.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 794 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $35,782 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $35,782 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,738 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale. On one hand, it may help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. On the other hand, it suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can limit how much room there is for appreciation later.

Even so, the CR-V’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal should help support demand when you eventually sell. A well-kept example with the right equipment and a clean history should remain attractive to used shoppers looking for a practical compact SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, current pricing, and available inventory, the 2025 is a sensible primary choice. If your main priority is stretching your budget, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry price while still keeping the CR-V’s core strengths intact.
