The 2025 Sierra 1500’s appeal is built around a broad powertrain range, available four-wheel drive, and a well-developed feature set that includes updated infotainment and the MultiPro tailgate. What is the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500's resale value?

The current average of $64,445 CAD sits slightly below last year's $72,771 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you choose a well-equipped trim and keep mileage and condition in check, you should be better positioned when it comes time to resell. Trucks with broad appeal and premium features often hold attention longer, especially when they remain desirable in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,646 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $64,445 CAD average.
• It offers broad configurability and strong everyday versatility.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a strong mix of comfort, capability, and premium feel. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path and still gives you the Sierra’s core strengths.
