How much does the 2025 Ford Ranger cost?

There are 121 listings available, which suggests you have a workable but not oversized pool to shop from.

Is the 2025 Ford Ranger a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Ranger earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner approval. The overview shows a thoroughly modern midsize pickup with a redesigned cabin, a standard 10.1-inch screen with Sync 4, an available 12.4-inch portrait display, and a more truck-like design that still keeps work-truck roots in view. It also frames the Ranger as a capable and refined choice for buyers who want a midsize truck with current technology and everyday versatility.

With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Ford Ranger reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a truck that blends modern hardware with practical capability, including a redesigned suspension for better articulation and wheel travel, plus available Ford Co-Pilot 360 safety equipment even on the base trim. That combination suggests a well-developed package rather than a bare-bones work truck.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying for a more complex, feature-rich truck without getting a clean maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Ranger?

This is still a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 121 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.23% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $51,244 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Ranger's resale value?

The current average of $54,027 CAD sits slightly above last year's $52,847 CAD.

That upward movement suggests the Ranger is holding buyer interest well in the used market. If prices stay firm, a future seller may benefit from that steady demand, especially if the truck is well equipped and lightly used. The current market also shows enough spread between the low and high ends to reward shoppers who buy carefully now.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Ranger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.23% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $46,956 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $54,027 CAD average.
• The 2024 offers broader choice and stronger everyday comfort.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newer market position and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it costs less and still brings a compelling mix of capability and comfort.
