This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a well-priced listing appears.

• Inventory: There are 54 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.06% year-over-year.

What is the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning's resale value?

The current average of $78,164 CAD sits slightly above last year's $73,013 CAD.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. The year-round range also shows there is room for prices to move depending on condition and timing, so a clean, well-kept truck should remain easier to position in the market. Strong demand can help support resale, especially when supply is limited.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 7.06% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the strongest combination of current market support, owner satisfaction, and model-year relevance. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2025 makes the most sense when you want the latest version of this nameplate and are comfortable shopping in a firmer market.
