Used 2025 Dodge Durango for Sale nearSudbury, ON

How much does the 2025 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 18.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 552 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a 7.17/10 from our experts.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains a likable, if flawed, midsize three-row SUV that has aged remarkably well, and it still appeals if you want a practical family vehicle with a more muscular personality than many rivals. You also get a roomy and comfortable interior plus a modern infotainment system.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel use is high, the safety package is basic, and crash-test results are unimpressive.

With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a compelling value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango reliable?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is an older design, but it has aged remarkably well and still feels solidly constructed. Its performance hardware is substantial, and the cabin is described as comfortable and practical, which supports the case for everyday use.

The Durango’s powertrain lineup is straightforward, and the expert notes point to strong performance rather than mechanical complexity as the main story. That said, the model’s age means you should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition when shopping used.

If you buy one, long-term ownership risk is more about age-related wear and running costs than about the vehicle’s basic ability to do the job.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base GT gives you a V6 and standard all-wheel drive, while the higher-performance versions add more visual attitude and richer cabin materials. The safety equipment is short by modern standards, so you should not expect a long list of advanced features at the lower end.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 295-horsepower 3.6-litre V6, a 360-hp 5.7-litre V8, or a 710-hp supercharged 6.2-litre V8. All use an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD in Canada, and the lineup is tuned more for strong performance than for efficiency.
• Safety package: The standard safety list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist. The package is basic by modern standards, so you should verify exactly what is fitted on the vehicle you are considering.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Durango gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, native navigation, dual-phone Bluetooth pairing, and wireless smartphone charging. The system is modern and well equipped.
• Fuel efficiency: The SRT Hellcat is rated at 20.5 L/100 km in the city, 13.8 on the highway, and 17.4 combined. On testing, it returned 23.2 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is offered in 3 trim levels: GT, R/T, SRT Hellcat.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the value play if you want the Durango’s standard V6, standard AWD, and the core family-friendly package without chasing performance extras.
• R/T: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger V8 character and a more muscular driving experience without jumping to the top-end Hellcat.
• SRT Hellcat: Choose this if you want the full performance experience, including the supercharged V8, performance-focused hardware, and the most dramatic personality in the lineup.

The safety package is short by modern standards across the range, so make sure the specific vehicle has the features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some confidence if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 552 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $49,342 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $49,342 CAD sits slightly below last year's $60,862 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Durango has become more buyer-friendly in the near term, which can help you if you are shopping used today. For a future seller, though, it means you should expect softer resale conditions than a year ago unless your vehicle is especially well equipped or unusually clean.

Because the model is in its final year of production, demand may stay supported by shoppers who want this specific formula. Even so, the current trend points to a market that rewards careful pricing more than optimism.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango safe?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA and a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist.

The main caveat is that the Durango’s small overlap frontal-impact performance is a cause for concern, and its crash-test record is not a strong point.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.93% compared with last year.
• It is the final-year Durango with a trimmed lineup and strong performance focus.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Durango’s old-school character while remaining on sale with only minor changes.

The bottom line: If you want the last and most market-supported version of this formula, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are price-sensitive and simply want the Durango’s character, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you the clearest final-year shopping case.
