Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica stands out because it remains one of the few minivans that gives you a clear choice between a conventional gasoline powertrain and a plug-in hybrid. It also balances family practicality with available luxury, so you can prioritise either everyday versatility or a more upscale feature set.

For shoppers, that means you get a minivan with seven-passenger seating, flexible cargo solutions, and available equipment that goes well beyond the basics. The Pacifica’s appeal is strongest if you want a well-equipped family vehicle with both conventional and electrified options.

33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica is presented as a versatile minivan with a broad range of family-friendly features and powertrain choices. Its gasoline version adds the option of all-wheel drive, while the hybrid focuses on efficiency and electric-only driving for shorter trips.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should pay close attention to how the specific powertrain and equipment have been maintained, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 592 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,505 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $39,505 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,210 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Pacifica easier to shop now than it was a year ago. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for future depreciation than someone who paid closer to last year’s higher pricing. For a future seller, that means resale value will depend heavily on how well you control mileage, condition, and trim desirability.

Should I buy a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.13% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,237 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $39,505 CAD average.
• It offers a polished, comfortable ride with easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the latest pricing context and a broad pool of listings to compare. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play because it undercuts the current year while still delivering the Pacifica’s core strengths.
