Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica a good car?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica stands out because it combines minivan practicality with a broad range of comfort and convenience features, plus the unusual choice of either a gasoline V6 or a plug-in hybrid powertrain. That flexibility is a major part of its appeal, especially for buyers who want family-hauling versatility without giving up modern efficiency options.

It is also distinctive for how much equipment Chrysler has built into the Pacifica’s cabin. The model offers seven-passenger seating, Stow ’n Go second-row seats in the standard version, and a flat-folding third row, which helps create a highly usable cargo area. Available and standard features across the line include a rear-view camera, power sliding doors, a power liftgate, heated front seats, automatic three-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen running Uconnect 5.

36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica reliable?

The 2025 Chrysler Pacifica’s appeal comes from its strong everyday usefulness, broad feature set, and rare plug-in hybrid option in a segment where practicality is often the main selling point. It is also distinctive for how much equipment Chrysler has built into the Pacifica’s cabin, which can make day-to-day ownership feel convenient and well thought out.

There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind. All-wheel drive is not available with the hybrid, and Chrysler does not recommend towing with the plug-in hybrid. The hybrid also gives up the Stow ’n Go seating arrangement because of its battery packaging, and the interior materials are described as feeling cheap.

For long-term ownership, you should weigh the Pacifica’s versatility against the added complexity of the hybrid setup if you plan to keep it for many years.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chrysler Pacifica?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 482 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,374 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica's resale value?

The current average of $41,374 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,757 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the Pacifica easier to shop today than it was a year ago. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the vehicle is especially well equipped or priced aggressively. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less room for appreciation later, but you can still protect value by choosing a clean, well-maintained example.

Should I buy a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.80% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,480 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,374 CAD average.
• It checks the basics well with only small issues detracting from its overall goodness.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2025 if you want the broader powertrain flexibility and are comfortable shopping the current market. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path and still delivers the core Pacifica experience.
